Hello it is with a heavy heart that my family and I are reaching out for support. We got hit hard by Covid back to back losing our 2 uncles. My aunt lost her dad and less than a month later she lost her husband. My little cousin lost his grandpa and his daddy all at the same time. They were both battling Covid for a month and both were taken. Her husband Roberto was their main provider while she was home taking care of her dad and their baby boy. Hoping we can help her with funeral arrangements, hospital bills and for them to get by for now. This loss will be a long road of recovery and adjustments for them which is why we ask if anyone can help in any way it will be greatly appreciated.  May our new angels Andres Villaseñor and Roberto Martinez Rest In Peace Hola, es con gran pesar que mi familia y yo buscamos apoyo. 35 YEAR-VETERAN OF THE LOS ANGELES SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT VICTIM OF A FATAL ACCIDENT BY FLEEING FELONS On December 22nd, just three days before Christmas, Phillip Barragan “Phil,” a 35 year veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department, was murdered in a fatal traffic accident by suspects evading police.   Phil’s world revolved around his beloved wife and two daughters, and it all changed in an instant. On that tragic evening, Phil was on his way home from work and near a gas station when the suspects, who were speeding to get away from police, ran a red light and hit Phil’s car head-on. Phil succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The suspects survived, and police found contraband and a weapon in the suspects’ car. It is indeed ironic and tragic that Phil risked his life every day in public service to find himself a fatal victim of a senseless crime. Phil graduated from the LASD academy in 1983 and worked more than 30 years at Central Jail; he retired in 2018. Phil had a wonderful and rich sense of humor and a genuine desire to help others. His good nature put a smile on thousands of people during his life. His primary passion was his family, taking care of them and instilling in his daughters the importance of education and public service. Phil leaves behind his wife, Silvia Barragan (RN-BSN), and daughter, Haley Barragan (CNA), who work on the front lines of the COVID pandemic, and his youngest daughter, Holly Barragan. She is currently a high school junior with plans to attend college in 2022. After retiring from the Los Angeles Sheriff Department, Phil put on hold his full retirement to continue to provide for his daughters’ education expenses. He was the consummate family man. Professionally, Phil approached law enforcement with the proper outlook – here to protect and serve. He was non-confrontational and relied on his kind nature to get the job done. We are asking for your help for Phil’s family to help with current and future educational expenses, such as Holly’s college tuition, as well as costs related to his passing and grief counseling for his survivors. Law Enforcement Family In Need  Of Help

<img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/14163539_1472675750.4574_funddescription.png" alt="" width="100%" /> The La Verne Lazers Boys '02 soccer team isn't just a team, we're family.  On Tuesday evening, August 30, at about 6:30 PM, two of our boys were critically injured when a drunk driver crashed into a parked car right next to where the boys were sitting waiting to be picked up for soccer practice.   The boys were both pinned underneath the car and suffered major injuries.  They were airlifted to County USC Hospital in Los Angeles.  Tony, 13, suffered a severe laceration on his face and underwent surgery last night.  Beto, also 13, suffered two broken shoulder blades, ribs, arm and hip and also a punctured lung.  Both boys are stable, but in critical condition.   Their road to recovery will be a long one but the boys are surrounded by loving family, friends and teammates.  Hard working and committed, both are concerned about helping take care of their families as are all of our teammates.  The boys both live in Azusa and the families have limited resources to get through this difficult time.   Please considering donating today to help cover costs of transporation for the boys' families to the hospital(they have limited access to vehicles), meals while the family is visiting at the hospital, care for other family members while parents are staying with the boys, medical costs that could come during their recovery and assistance in covering living expenses as their parents will miss time at work.   All funds raised will go directly to the families. Help Support Beto and Tony

Kenneth (Kenny) Hunt is the beautiful son of Deanna and Harold Hunt. Kenny was born on June 10, 2014. On April 8, 2016 Harold and Dee received the worst phone call a parent could receive. Kenny had an accident and was being taken to Pomona Valley Hospital. Due to complications he had to be transported to Loma Linda Children's Hopsital so Kenny could receive the additional care he needed. On April 9, 2016 Kenny was taken from us. Kenny was 22 months old. He was so full of life and joy and always had a smile on his face. Kenny loved his toy cars and would play with them for hours. He loved the outdoors and being with family. Harold and Dee took Kenny to so many places including Hawaii, Lake Arrowhead, Bishop to camp, baseball games, the fair, Coronado, where he fully enjoyed each and every adventure. Kenny was loved by so many and will be cherished in our hearts forever. As you can imagine Dee and Harold are completely devastated. This family is keeping their faith in God during this tragic time even though they do not fully understand why He took Kenny from us so soon. We are organizing this fundraiser to help Dee and Harold focus on what really matters. The financial strain on this young family will be tremendous. Our goal is to help relieve this enormous burden so this family can focus on grieving.
