<div>I watched groups of people walk by a man sitting on the curb with his kids and not bother to stop or even look at him He had no idea #theblessingbrother was going to surprise him with a blessing much needed. Meet Rudy and his 3 adorable children. Rudy told me that his wife left him and their kids after struggling with addiction and being diagnosed with HIV. He explained that it is hard for him to work considering he does not have child care for his kids. The two oldest are autistic and non verbal while the youngest is only 1yrs old. He says that since he cannot work he is forced to ask people for help while he watches over the kids daily. Rudy says he is a skilled mechanic and would be willing to work every day if he is able to afford child care. I ended up giving him all the money in my pocket which he told me was almost enough to get him a room for the weekend. I wish I could do more so I got his phone number and told him that I would be back on day to help him even more On a mission to change the way we treat one another, one blessing at a time. Lets help Rudy afford housing this winter and daycare for his children so he can get work and provide for his family.

<div>Out of rapid obedience to God, I moved to Texas from North Carolina. Since then, I have experienced homelessness, relocation, harassment, financial hardship, bullying within school environments, and major life transitions while continuing to pursue the purpose God placed on my life.

<div>Truthfully, instability is not something new to me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have experienced homelessness and housing instability for the majority of my life. Since around the age of 7, I have moved from place to place temporarily, often staying in environments where we were not always fully welcomed or secure. There were times my former guardian had to retrieve food from behind grocery stores just so we could eat.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of those experiences, I deeply crave stability. I long for a place where I can simply breathe, rest, and not constantly worry about my belongings being thrown away, sold, lost, or placed out on the curb.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Relocating and rebuilding has not been easy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>There were nights I slept on the ground at parks, on public transportation barely sleeping, and even in the stairwell of a parking garage just trying to make it through the night safely. What you see is truly me walking by faith and not by sight.
</div>

</div>
<div>I currently do not own a vehicle yet, which is one of the reasons I am asking for help. Reliable transportation or eventually a small RV would not only help me remain stable, but also help me continue ministry work, travel safely, attend school consistently, and reach people in different cities and communities.
</div>

<div>Even in difficult seasons, I continue to spread the Gospel, encourage others, and help people experiencing hardship themselves. The support given through this fundraiser does not only help me, but also helps me feed and support others who are struggling, unhoused, overlooked, rejected, or hurting.

<div>Some people have been pushed away from church buildings, judged, or never introduced to the love of God at all. My heart is to reach people everywhere, not just inside four walls. To me, this is ministry.

<div>I believe relationship over religion matters deeply. I believe people deserve to know they are loved, seen, and valued by God regardless of their background, past, denomination, or where they currently are in life.

<div>I recently enrolled in cosmetology school again in a different area after experiencing bullying and harassment in a previous environment. I am continuing to move forward and rebuild my life while pursuing education, ministry, business, and creative projects the Lord placed on my heart.
</div>

<div>One of my long-term goals is to help create permanent solutions for homelessness and provide safe spaces where people can rest, rebuild, recover, and feel human again. Everyone deserves a place to lay their head.

I moved to Texas out of obedience to God

<div>My name is Debra Golston and, I am raising funds to offset the medical costs and ongoing needs of my 11-year-old granddaughter, Deaira Summers. She graduated from elementary school two weeks ago, and unfortunately, became the innocent victim of a heinous act. She was a bystander who was doused with acid at a school park where she was playing.

<div>On July 9th, Deaira and her young siblings and cousins were at a park when an altercation between an older, unknown teenager and one of Deaira’s cousins occurred. The unknown teenager’s mother brought acid to the park for her child to retaliate. Deaira and her siblings had left the park, as they were not involved; however, Deaira dropped her purse in her haste to depart. She returned for her purse and was then doused with acid by the older teenager. Dearia has second and third degree burns from her back downward and spent four days in the burn unit at Children’s Hospital. She is lucky to be alive but will need ongoing care to fully heal from all the wounds she incurred.

<div>Deaira’s mother is having to take time off from work to care for Deaira and for her own mental well-being. All donations will go the Summers’ bank account and will be used to help cover Deaira’s medical costs as well as her ongoing physical and counseling needs. The family may also need to relocate to another area, as the suspected teenager and her mother have yet to be apprehended as of the writing of this request.

<div>Hello all…. Sadly, this past Sunday, January 23rd, our family received devastating news. We lost our beloved Davin Ugbaja. Davin left us at just 20 years old due to complications after surgery. Recovery was going okay for about a week until it wasn’t. The news was very sudden and unexpected. It breaks my heart that someone so sweet and thoughtful to those around him will no longer be here to extend a helping hand. It is now our turn to step in and help Davin Rest In Peace with the proper burial. Davin was on the path of obtaining his Associate’s degree in video editing from Lone Star College in Houston, Texas. Davin was a community helper who helped the disabled, primarily the blind and yet, always managed to light up the room by being funny. Davin was a man of God and practiced his word. <br /><br />During this difficult time, our family turns to the community to help us peacefully bring our Davin into the hands of the lord. No parent should ever have to endure this burden all on their own. We ask for your prayers to send strength our way and anything donated will go far. Thank you, and God bless you.
