Help Us Get Our Well Repaired — Anything Helps Hi, my name is Tressa, and I’m creating this GoFundMe because our family is facing an emergency situation we can’t fix on our own. Our Well Went Out Right Before Thanksgiving Three weeks ago, our well suddenly stopped working. We had a professional come out, and we were told that the well pump has failed. Because our pump sits 450 feet down, the cost to pull it, diagnose the full problem, and replace what’s needed is $3,000–$5,000+ depending on what they find. Until then, we have no running water at all. We’ve been living off bottled water for everything — cooking, cleaning, washing, and daily needs. It’s been extremely hard. ⸻ Why I’m Asking for Help We’re not the type to ask for anything — we’re usually the ones helping others. But this year has pushed us beyond our limits. My Health Struggles I have been dealing with serious health issues. I recently had major neck surgery with fusions and a disc replacement. Because of long-term back and neck problems, I’m disabled and unable to work. The recovery process has been difficult and expensive. ⸻ ️ Additional Financial Strain: Mold & Water Damage Just before all this, we suffered thousands of dollars in water damage and mold repairs in both bathrooms caused by someone living with us. Leaks were ignored, and the damage grew out of control. We tried to help someone who needed a place to stay, and it ended up costing us more than we could handle. I’m still trying to recover from that — and then the well went out. ⸻ I Truly Need Help This has been one of the hardest seasons of our lives.
