Doris Albright, also known as Peanut, was a sweet, loving, and caring mom. She always went out of her way to help anyone in need and never asked for anything in return. Doris fought a really good battle, and she was a very special person to everyone who knew her. Her kindness and generosity touched so many lives, and she was loved by all.

We're raising money to help pay her bills and to host a memorial cookout in her honor, so friends and family can come together to celebrate her life. <div>Hi, my name is Tanya and my best friend, Christine is going through it right now! She has suffered a stroke. She has very limited movement from her right side. She is currently in the hospital awaiting news of where she will go for rehabilitation for the stroke. On top of the stroke, her heart issues have also come back. So she is fighting the fight. Frustrated but day by day she's fighting.

Her unexpected passing has left a void that words fail to express, a chasm felt deeply within her family, friends, and the entire Richmond Hill community. Angie was a beacon of light and love, radiating joy and finding goodness in every facet of life.

<div>For over two decades, Angie devoted herself to teaching children, impacting generations of students. As a beloved 4th grade teacher at McAllister Elementary School, she not only taught lessons but also instilled values and left an indelible mark on countless youth. Her warmth and compassion extended far beyond the classroom, touching the lives of families throughout our community, and earning the admiration and affection of her fellow educators.

<div>Above all, Angie's greatest source of joy was her family. Her devotion to her husband, Mitch, of 21 years, and their three remarkable children, Kaitlyn, Bryce, and Emma, knew no bounds. She cherished every moment spent with them and took immense pride in their accomplishments.

<div>Hi my name is Gina and the last 11 months have changed my life. You see I am an only child and I was the only grandchild. So much has happened to me in such a short amount of time. Everything started the day I lost my beautiful mother. She died on October 9, 2021. A few months later on March 23 of 2022 I was lying in my bed and I thought I thought I had rolled over on the remote control. I wasn’t. My sheer luck I happened to find a golf ball size of a tumor. Just 9 months prior to that I had a mammogram and those results came back crystal clear. At that very moment I became extremely upset and I drove myself to the nearest hospital. I was so afraid. I didn’t have anyone with me. You see I was all alone because I had no brothers or sisters. My momma had just died and only my daddy remained. I have 3 beautiful grown children and my husband who I’ve been married to since 1999. I was scared and I didn’t know what to do. I immediately had surgery to remove my left breast on May 6. I felt so scared and all alone because at first I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. I was and still am so very afraid. After I had the surgery my plastic surgeon inserted a tissue expander. This is when everything went wrong. Try My body could not handle the first expander so it came out and I had a second surgery. Only to find out the second one developed a leak and I had to have it removed as well. So I had to have another surgery to replace the leaking one. I developed a terrible infection and the skin actually started to die and was. necrotizing. The pain I was experiencing was so painful that I truly wanted to die and I missed my mother terribly. After all the surgery it came time to start chemotherapy. Again I felt alone and I was scared. The chemo treatment has been so very terrible that I’ve been sick that I was begging for death to come and take me. But I knew I couldn’t do this because it would devastate my sweet daddy who know has a tumor or his lung. Besides my beautiful children, my husband, my daddy and a couple of friends who I love like the sisters I never could imagine leaving them. I had so many wonderful and beautiful people raise money for me for my treatment and to help me pay my bills , I can’t let them down. They love and care for me so much. I was doing ok but I haven’t been released to go back to work because I have more treatment and more procedures to go through except now all my deductibles have to be met before I can finish my treatment and I don’t have the means to pay for anymore treatment and now I’m at the mercy of asking my friends to help me finish this journey so I can move on with my life and go back to doing the job I love so much and be with the my other family that mean the world to me.

<div>I have no more money to pay for future treatment or to pay my normal bills.
</div>
<div>I desperately need to finish my treatment so I can then turn my attention to caring for my only parent that I have left and my daddy needs me an I need him.
</div>
<div>I need desperately to raise the money to reach my deductible so I can continue getting better before and finish my treatment. So I’m asking for help one more time from all my wonderful friends. I need y’all more than ever to please help me because I have no where else to turn.

Cancer treatment and surgery

<div>Hello ALL. My name is Charise and I am doing this fundraiser for not ONLY a friend of 30+ years, but someone who has become a part of my family. You see I met his wife eons ago. We were both military wives working at the same video store and had children the same age. I grew to love them, and as their family grew. My heart did also. Which is why it breaks my heart to share this story. John is someone who has ALWAYS found a way to make things work. So strong, so tough, so focused. THIS.. he can not be any of those. He will have to stay 3 months away from home near the hospital treating him during his bone marrow transplant AND the expense is ALL out of pocket. I'll let you read his story from his own words. I'm just asking you to PLEASE, dig deep and find just a small way to help. It doesn't matter how much it is. Because it all adds up BIG. Thank you.

<div>Firstly, I can't tell you how uncomfortable I am subscribing to this. My family and I have always been self sufficient and when it came to accepting offers of help, in any form, it always came with a dreaded feeling of guilt. But recently a close friend offered advice and a bit of insight into "Pride" I quote John C Maxwell, "There are two kinds of pride, both good and bad. 'Good pride' represents our dignity and self-respect. 'Bad pride' is the deadly sin of superiority that reeks of conceit and arrogance"

<div>Within the mirror of self-realization, the "Good Pride" revealed itself.

<div>So here is my story...
</div>

<div>On August 26th, 2022 I received the diagnosis of AML (Acute Myeolgenous Leukemia) This is quite simply, cancer of the bone marrow. I spent 21 days at Candler Hospital in Savannah getting the most extreme chemotherapy I could receive, dropping my weight from 270+ to 219. My body went through drastic changes as expected, but I think the biggest effect was my peace of mind. Throughout the months of September, October, November and December I went through what's called cycle chemotherapy. On top of that, I was required to go to the Augusta Cancer Center where I would receive bone marrow biopses. The detailed molecular results would determine if I still had myeloblast cells present in my marrow. During these months, I tried to live as normal a life as possible but the threat of neutropenia always loomed. My compromised immune system prevented much of that. I felt that all the treatments that I had been exposed to, everything on paper, was trending for the positive. I was absolutely sure I would be done with this and I could return to work. On February 9th, after four months of chemotherapy, four bone marrow biopses, all the medicines I've ingested, it was revealed that I still had blast cells remaining in my marrow. And if nothing was done, eventually I would revert back to my Day 1 symptoms. So my next journey in all of this is to go through with a bone marrow transplant. This will happen within the next four months. As of March 7th, I will be unemployed. I will no longer have insurance. I have submitted my Social Security Disability and VA claims to help, but as we all know, none of this happens overnight. Part of me wants to say, "Nevermind, no treatment, I'm going back to work" This decision would most certainly betray my friends and family, but most importantly, myself for not seeing this through and getting what should be another lease on life. According to the Transplant Coordinator, my lodging and meals will be out-of-pocket and I will require a full time caregiver to get me from Point A to Point B in and around the Augusta area while I attend treatments and appointments for the next four months. Each day, I get more bills in the mail. Each day, one more obstacle sits down right in front of my progress. Overwhelmed by all of this is an understatement. My wife and children are sacrificing all they can to assist both financially and physically when they can. Friends ask every week what they can do to help. I guess what this all boils down to is me asking if anyone who reads this, can help in any way. That includes spiritually, emotionally, financially. For those that have invested in my beating this, I hope this is to assist us in making sure we have the elements to continue this fight. God has seen to it that I've made it this far.

As most everyone probably knows by now the world lost an earthly Angel and heaven gained her. To know Emily was definitely to love her.   She never had any children of her own but quickly became the "Mom" to many.  She made everyone around her feel loved and important.  Unfortunately she left this world with no life insurance or prepaid arrangements to help cover her funeral expenses or other bills left behind so we are asking for help from all of you that she loved and cherished so dearly.  We appreciate  all of you that made her feel loved and happy in her life. You will never know how grateful we are to all of her friends and those she called her family.
