Rebecca is raising support for Trail Ridge Middle School’s Unified Sports/Club program, a school sports and club fundraiser that brings together students with and without intellectual disabilities to play, grow, and shine as one team. Through Unified Sports/Club, these incredible athletes build lasting friendships, strengthen empathy, and help create a school culture where everyone truly belongs. Trail Ridge Middle School is proud to be recognized as a National Banner Unified Champion School, a reflection of its deep commitment to inclusion and opportunity for every student.
Right now, the program needs help funding for two important necessities to maintain the program: transportation to Special Olympics competitions and inclusive events, and supplies for its student-run Coffee Cart. Travel costs for the school year total $2,200, and even one bus trip can cost up to $420. Without reliable transportation, student athletes can miss the chance to compete, cheer each other on, and proudly represent their school. The Friday Coffee Cart is another meaningful part of the Unified Sports/Club program, giving students hands-on experience in customer service, teamwork, communication, and other valuable life and vocational skills while serving teachers with joy and pride.
Every donation makes a real difference for Trail Ridge Middle School’s students. Support will help keep the team on the road to events and keep the Coffee Cart stocked so students can continue learning and serving their school community. Rebecca is asking the community to help open doors for these students so they can put on their jerseys, ride the bus with teammates, and keep building confidence, belonging, and life skills. Thank you for considering a gift and for sharing this fundraiser with others who may want to support Trail Ridge Middle School’s athletes and students.
