For years, the Heffner family has poured their hearts into the Brentwood community. Stefani and Tom have spent years showing up for others through Secret Garden Designs Plant Shop and through the care they have given the people around them. Now they are facing one of the hardest chapters their family has ever walked through. Stefani and Tom recently made the heartbreaking decision to close Secret Garden Designs and move their family from California to Florida so they can be closer to Stefani’s mom, whose battle with cancer has progressed rapidly. They need to get to her as soon as they can, and this transition is happening under deeply emotional and urgent circumstances. Closing a small business while moving a family across the country is an enormous financial undertaking, especially in today’s economy. The funds raised will help with responsibly closing Secret Garden Designs, their cross-country move from California to Florida, travel and moving costs, housing deposits, and the many expenses involved in getting their family established near Stefani’s mom as quickly as possible. The Heffner family is doing everything they can by saving every penny and selling their remaining inventory, but this is still a heavy burden to carry alone. No contribution is too small. Whether someone can give $5, $20, $100, or more, every dollar will help lighten the burden on Stefani and Tom during this difficult season.
