What Traci cares about

I love all things food, wine, art, music & animals. I have been creating custom charcuterie boards/boxes for years & now I want to take it full-time.

My name is Traci, and I’m the owner of A Local Basket—a business that creates custom charcuterie boards and boxes for events and individuals featuring locally sourced ingredients. Twelve years ago, I moved to Oregon and started making charcuterie boards for my group of friends to enjoy at gatherings. What began as a hobby quickly grew into something more, as people started asking me to make boards for their own events. That’s how A Local Basket was born, and it’s been a joy to share my love of food and creativity with others ever since. Now, I have moved to the east coast and I’m ready to take A Local Basket to the next level and turn my passion into a full-time business. I’ve found a commercial kitchen that I can lease for at least a year, and I’ve partnered with local wineries and an event space to host monthly food and beverage pairings—events that I hope will grow to become weekly as the business expands. To make this dream a reality, I need some extra support to cover the costs of leasing the kitchen, purchasing essential equipment, and sourcing supplies from local vendors, including the boards and boxes that make each order special. Your support will help me bring more local flavor to our community and create memorable experiences for friends, families, and neighbors. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference and help me take this exciting next step. Thank you so much for believing in my dream and supporting A Local Basket! If someone is interested in investing into the growth of A Local Basket, please contact me directly and I can share my pitch deck as well as my business plan.
