What is currently going on right now? The main concern is a total loss of our home and everything inside it. I have two children one is autistic and ADHD. He’s five years old and I have a daughter who’s 14 and going to high school. I’m a single mother with no income. Mold has taken over the walls and has went airborne and every single room destroyed our couch our dining room table everything in the kitchen everything in the living room and it has even spread to Furnature inside our bedrooms. We have literally lost everything. And after fighting and fighting and fighting with State Farm telling them that I know for a fact that this is covered and them saying it’s not finally  there was a breakthrough and they are covering the secondary damages so now we can finally get that done and then get back to finishing getting everything in our home because the house is demolition and it has been since September 24, 2025, which was the first mistake that the restoration company made leaving my home vulnerable all the way through winter time which is what caused a secondary damages Only we didn’t know it because we were out of the house State Farm is currently approved to cover the secondary damages caused by neglect from the renovation company due to the fact that it’s a weather related water loss However, due to me, not having an income and having two children to look after One not being of school age, and that I plan to homeschool due to the ADHD, the only income I have is Child Support in which I spend on food and supplements for my children and I We need help rebuilding our lives and would appreciate any help that anybody is willing to offer even a share. Something so simple as sharing to your social media would help us significantly.  I’ve had this GoFundMe open for a few months and I have been growing the story adding details that are important if you want to stick with just knowing what has been typed above and you don’t wanna go into a longer detailed version then you can end here  If you wanna know more about the story you don’t really need to read the rest below. I’ll summit up basically by saying that, SPRINGFIELD restoration company neglected our home we hired them to repair damages due to a water pipe bursting that flooded our home come to find out they didn’t even do half their job correctly. SPRINGFIELD and State Farm single-handedly together destroyed our entire home with sickening black green yellow mold protruding out of our walls of brand new repairs that were just done and right when we got our supplies purchased and a schedule going SPRINGFIELD decided to drop us. I called and reached out to over 50 restoration companies and even contractors and after I sent them all of the stuff all the paperwork so they could look it over to see what was done and what needs done every single one of them either one ignored me to told me that they did not want to work with State Farm three told me to get a lawyer and that they were not interested in being a part of this or they told me that State Farm has screwed them over in some way shape or form in involving payment versus Work and they would not work with me due to the fact that State Farm is my insurance company.. I reached out to over 100 to 150 nonprofits with us being domestic violence Victims due to the stress of all that was going on for the past eight months even they weren’t willing to help us. Nobody was everyone was telling me there’s no funding available no funding available. Everyone turn our back on us and we were given no justice for losing everything that we had. Our lives were out of the blue turned upside down this affected so many aspects of our lives, affected our mental health and caused so much disruption for my autistic child.. Dcs got involved and people that are legally not allowed to call Dcs on us got Dcs involved anyways because of a disaster and a crisis that our family was going through and had nothing to do with my parenting.  When this is all over, I will be sharing my story mainstream. Because I’m sure I’m not the only person who goes through what is essentially fraud because not only did they decline a covered damage but they also didn’t follow anything any other policies any ALE’s so they broke so many laws in the process. ————————-the full story State farm repeatedly made neglectful and improper decisions when it came to every aspect of our claim for homeowners insurance from a busted pipe that flooded our home. SPRINGFIELD was who I hired to do the entire job from start to finish did their fair share damage by causing domestic violence. During the fall and winter season, they failed to maintain visits to the home while we had severe temperatures that were below zero causing walls all over the city to freeze in which my home was demolition and not protected. There was no movement due to back-and-forth by companies over the estimates in both the companies would take significant amounts of time to respond (mostly State Farm) from the data demolition September 24 2025all the way till February 2026. Now seven months have gone by multiple spots of protruding, black and green mold, have popped up all around the damaged sites that are part of the claim. I found this after we returned home after they canceled my son‘s ALE and close the policy due to “scope of timeframe of repairs” even though an agreement wasn’t made until February between the two companies basically dropping us because SPRINGFIELD dropped us and according to their agreement, which was terminated when they terminated the contract by dropping us repairs should’ve been done by March 24. My kids and I are actively living in a home with airborne mold and mold in one of our bathrooms and basically our entire kitchen most likely forming into the living room, considering the living room divider wall was damaged. Once an agreement was made and supplies were bought in February, they dropped the project, over a deductible that was paid and showing zero on the summary of loss all the way up until the end of January 2026. It also shows a move that SPRINGFIELD was paid for, but never showed up to, leaving me and my kids an hour to pack up what was needed of two vehicles when we only had one in an hour to check out of the Airbnb we are at they took no accountability . Springfield. was hired and approved for by State Farm due move our items to the next place due to me creating an ALE after my stepfather had a stroke who WAS currently at that time living with us helping us. They are now charging money for storing our supplies, which State Farm is responsible for but yet it hasn’t done anything about its accruing fees. Literally no other restoration company that I have consulted with will pick up our repairs for the home, and have named State Farm’s reputation the reason why. Now we are about to lose paid Housing even though I’m a Pain customer and it is provided by our policy. Our ALES last for 24 months and I have 24 months to complete the project. It’s only been seven months, we’ve had ours open since the end of September of 2025 when they demolitioned my home immediately, and a six month gap that has nothing to do with us and all to do with them. Of course once were dropped it took only a month for State Farm to say hey you’re delaying your project what’s going on? You’re gonna lose your ALE if you’re not taking steps to complete the project. During the months of delays they kept denying my request for housing assistance instead of having us moving from Airbnb to Airbnb, either biweekly or every 10 days in the last one actually lasted for two months, but it has caused chaos with my autistic child and my daughter, and caused significant damage to my vehicles by having to travel so much more. We moved almost 15 times over the last six months, spending APPROX. THREE x the amount it would’ve cost just to initiate housing assistance, which is what I requested multiple times from the getgo before demolition after demolition, and after the many many issues they caused for our family by moving us so many times, including domestic violence, absences from my daughter, missing appointments and so on. He stopped paying bills in retaliation to calling the cops and DCS getting involved. Home is coming close to default •HOMELESSNESS/ displacements/INHABITABLE HOME due to DENIAL/ negligence OF ALE’s and known hardship by State Farm •HOMEOWNERS INS NEGLECT/DENIALS/ NON REIMBURSEMENT of FUNDS PAID •Renovation Company drop/ home repairs at HAULT and caused the DV incident. Never showed up to a move that State Farm approved them for that they knew needed done and essentially agreed to do. Huge hurdles right now •Transportation- vehicle in need of repairs- has oil gasket leak and coolant leak- cannot drive •Daughter missing many days of school because of everything above •Indiana got rid of daycare vouchers, I’ve tried remote jobs when you have an autistic child they just don’t work. I’m a single mother taking on all the mental load, exhaustion, my own chronic health issues, and horrific unnecessary stress because State Farm simply won’t follow their policies intentionally, trying to deny any part of the claim that they can. They already notified the housing assistance company, that finally after 6 1/2 months was initiated but unsuccessful at finding us housing. I found the Housing We’re currently in that I was told had a two month approval, that they were not gonna be extending our time past the first month,, but yet State Farm hasn’t notified me about it. The only thing I got was this letter back in February so I stayed in contact with State Farm letting them know everything that was going on. Airbnb had some play into this as well that caused a ton of havoc in the beginning, but I’m not getting into all that. I’m currently looking for a lawyer that works on contingency I’m looking for someone to advertise my GoFundMe I’m looking for several journalists who want to share my story that involves corruption and abuse in potentially fraud over a family of three of which two are minors, and protected individuals by DV, ADA, income, etc., that are about to negatively impact our live lives forever. I’m looking for Housing?grants that are related to autism, ADHD, developmental delays, domestic violence, low income, families, and ADA,, because clearly it’s either we lose our home or I do a quick sale of some type and we will need something to bridge that gap between the decent equity I have and what is still needed to build a fully purchase a small home otherwise we’re gonna lose everything and end up in a shelter and I haven’t been able to work because of my son’s diagnosis’s my chronic conditions (RA-DDD-Autoimmune) and along with my daughters we all constantly see specialist for. I am a part of three domestic violence agencies as of right now nothing has been done to help us. I’m waiting for an update to see if anything for housing has been done but at this point if we can’t even go back to the house because it’s not livable, according to SPRINGFIELD, and definitely according to anybody who would look at the home. I don’t have an income. I’m a single mother.. he stopped paying the bills because he retaliated by me calling the cops and DCS getting involved. I’m a domestic violence survivor as well as my son by his stepbrother who is 12 who belongs to his father. My daughter who’s 14 has been a standby to watch all of us go through all this heartbreak, including her. If you wish to continue reading you can there’s more details down below…the more you read the more heartbreaking The situation gets, otherwise, if you could like, I said share this, if you have connections, please please share my story and if you can donate anything would help because we can’t get food FSSA plays too many games and the shelters can’t provide the type of dietary restrictions my children need This is basically the summary with little details now we get into the details below: DETAILS- - - - - - - - INSURANCE CLAIM - ALE COVERAGES and RESTORATION COMPANY DROP I write about this first because this caused the domestic violence incident to occur.  Due to a water pipe under the sink bursting last year that caused flooding throughout almost half of my home, I filed a claim with State Farm in which then I hired Springfield restoration company in Harlan for repairs. They demolitioned my home in September 2025, and we have been out of the house since (I’m writing this March 4th 2026) The issues that I’m addressing have been and will continue to take us from being a stable family to being a family that ends up being on the streets, in a shelter, or depending on the government for the rest of our lives. Additionally, I’ve been severely sick from stress and the forced 10+ moves that I HAD to search for myself due to neglect from State Farm and their temporary housing, which I requested a multitude of times from the day prior to demolition, all the way up until November, when my stepfather who was initially living with and helping me, and my kids, had a stroke in one of the Airbnb’s (he was my support person. He is my family ) times since September. This is important because it highlights the constant danger and fear of homelessness that my family faces. I’ve also been forced to move from Airbnb to Airbnb, mostly ME PAYING using support to get into the air bnb for 1-3 days in the last six months (not getting reimbursed), which all this stress exacerbated my chronic pain from my RA/disc degenerative disease/ autoimmune conditions, my daughter and son conditions, and even more distress and suffering, physically and emotionally. My daughter has definitely suffered trauma and anxiety. Situations have caused her to miss many days of school due to incidents in someway, shape or form related . We have faced multiple situations from State Farm, over the past six to nine months like them failing to transfer funds before checkout time at a current Airbnb for the next Airbnb. These situations have severely stressed me, causing physical illness like a fast-growing tumor in my breast, and instability for my children causing severe anxiety. As a result, we have faced unnecessary homelessness, displacement, denied ALE claims, mishandled claim money, non reimbursement of my ALE money paid in, and broken ADA laws.  State Farm, knowing I need help moving in, not providing the help especially with an ALE they accepted, then forces me to seek his help to avoid homelessness or consequences for not being out of an Airbnb by checkout time, which caused my Airbnb account to be permanently shut down. Demolition was taken place in September 2025 by Springfield Restoration company in Harlan. Repairs were all scheduled to be done by February 18, then they dropped us, I found this out by calling my claims rep from State Farm and then I contacted SPRINGFIELD. Immediately after the phone call with them was when the domestic violence took place due to the added stress of them dropping us finally made an overkill and stress. Both companies are responsible for the situation, as SPRINGFIELD had no legitimate reason to drop us and State Farm knowing the hardship me and the two kids were already going through due to their negligence and my situation going on at home was well-known by both companies. SPRINGFIELD ruthlessly dropped us anyways after me telling “We just want to go home” after asking for reconsideration even after they failed to show up for a move, that was approved by State Farm. They immediately proceeded to block my main Facebook account after they spoke with me to avoid any negative feedback about their company.  Why don’t I have a job? Indiana eliminated childcare vouchers, leaving me burning out and with limited time for a full-time job. No income no resources no help no friends and no family. Between therapy, appointments, and the lack of a bus route, I’ve tried remote work, but my son interrupts me, either talking to people or crying because he wants my computer. Content creation failed because he was in the videos. I can’t get a moment alone to make money. We are having ahard time getting food due to my kids, allergies and sensitivities to particular foods.  Our vehicle just within the last week recently broke down is in need of repairs. I’ve contacted 15+ licensed restoration companies. All declined the project because the labor rates are too low and because no one wants to work with State Farm. I’m trying to move the repairs forward, but I’m running out of options. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/ displacement/ no income Regardless of the 3 Domestic Violence Agencies I’ve became apart of, there has basically been no help so far as of now, only a few gift cards have been able to be provided to us in the past two months. Due to a marriage that caused my children and I to suffer from gaslighting, abandonment, anxiety, and scarcity and what ended up being FOUR separate domestic violence occurrences over the years, everything I worked for prior to marriage is crumbling to the ground. I am, and have to be a stay at home mother because my son‘s diagnosis of autism/developmental delay/ADHD for a multitude of reasons and one being FWCS DENIAL of intervention . Another, WE’RE ON TONS OF WAITLISTS for daycare‘s and schools that partake in Autism care, but are not feasible without the voucher. Out of the [ 8 yrs ], my now separated husband and I have been married, [He only lived at home right before birth of our son, up until he was about a year and a couple months old]. Once he left, and he started coming home from visitation I sorry noticing my son flinching and sudden freak out over diaper changing, which was addressed, and I was laughed at. This man’s 12-year-old son has severe behavior issues, he’s been known for basically his entire life to be violent to himself and others and animals, and was abusing my autistic 5 year old for at least a year or two. This is why he left the house in the first place. As time went on with visitation within my home during weekends if at all, I caught on camera some horrific things, I notified the cops for documentation and this is what caused him to leave, instead of being a parent and properly teaching his child the consequences of his actions he shows to abandon one over protecting and enablinganother. (which is when I put his visitation going to Michigan to a permanent stop, and why he started coming to my home for weekends for visitation He started paying the bills after losing my job in 2024, and after losing the only person I had that helped with babysitting so I could retain a job. This fundraiser is about being trapped in a domestic violence situation with my two children while having to beg for money for food, gas, and anything else we would need. He thinks he can come and go, stay, and sleep where he pleases when he pleases. THIS Is WHY I NEED TO GET US AWAY! Thankfully, my daughter hasn’t suffered any physical violence, but has witnessed years of it. I’ve been living the MARRIED life, BUT also a single mother for many years, leaving me, burnt out, riddled with anxiety and depression, and him leaving my children rejected and neglected for selfish reasons that are very relevant to how we got here in the first place. I’m FORCED to stay involved with my him (though legally separated) BECAUSE INDIANA HAS NO HELP FOR PEOPLE LIKE US. Our son also witnessed my brutal abuse in February, and has never been the same. The father dictates when he comes around, if he wants to help with a serious situation like the breakdown of a vehicle, or help with a move that State Farm neglected to follow an ALE to pay for, how long he stays, if he stays the night, which bed he sleeps in, and finances. Due to the last incident with him, and going Child Support Court (which he got credit for the bills he was paying of ours), tables have turned, and now everything is late and or in default. The last domestic battery incident happened at my last Airbnb. I was shoved down, into doors, to the ground, punched in the face, and had my head slammed into a wall twice, once blacking me out. My son watched the entire thing and is still traumatized. I filed charges with victims’ assistance, but no charges were filed. DCS found sustainable negligence, then dropped the case unexpectedly. This prevented me from getting help from the father for food, supplements, or money for a home, movers, or anything else I needed. He retaliated. Thank you for your support and kindness.
