I’m Tonya Rose, a Pittsburgh-based girlie and the owner of a queer-owned small business built on identity, expression, and connection. What started as a passion for fragrance quickly became something deeper, a shared experience. A way for people to bottle a moment, a memory, a version of themselves they don’t always get to show the world.
Because scent is personal.
It’s emotional.
It’s power.
And for so many of us, especially within the Queer community, finding spaces where we can fully express who we are isn’t always easy. I wanted to create something different. Something immersive. Something that feels like stepping into your own story.
That’s where the Smoke & Venom Perfume Bar comes in.
This isn’t just about perfume. It’s about sitting down, exploring scent profiles, blending notes that speak to you, and walking away with something entirely your own. It’s for birthdays, weddings, quiet self-discovery moments, and loud, joy-filled celebrations.
It’s for anyone who has ever wanted to say:
“This is me.”
I’m building this from the ground up: sourcing high-quality materials, designing an unforgettable pop-up experience, and creating a space that is inclusive, affirming, and rooted right here in Pittsburgh.
Your support will help bring this vision to life by funding:
Perfume bar supplies and blending materials
Bottles, oils, and professional-grade ingredients
Pop-up event setup and décor
Licensing, branding, and local event opportunities
Every dollar helps turn this from a dream into something tangible. Something you can experience, smell, and remember.
This isn’t just about starting a business.
It’s about building something meaningful. Something bold. Something that lingers.
If you’ve ever believed in small businesses, in queer creators, in art that feels personal, then this is your invitation to be part of it.
Help me build something unforgettable and leave my mark.
Thank you,
Tonya Rose
