<div>From the very start I moved out at the age of 18 due to living in a horrible household, With a father not present and a mother that treated me poorly due to being the oldest.

<div>Living there I gave every paycheck I earned without having anything for myself to take care of any activities or schooling help. I had enough and moved away to live on my own, and during then everything was great. I Found a Job as a package handler working early mornings at 4am, Adopted a cat as soon as I moved into my new place to keep me company so I wasn't alone, everything was fantastic.

<div>However early December My beloved cat had an accident when he got out of my yard mid day, causing me to search for hours till he turned up on his own, He had a horrible burn on his paw that required a skin graft, and luckily it was able to be taken care of due to help amongst friends I've met and artwork I was able to put out to support it.

<div>This morning as of 1/23/26, I took my cat back to the vet for a checkup for a new cast for easier mobility for his paw only to find out his Insurance was maxed out without my knowledge and my consent on his earlier treatment, that causing me to pay for the cast out of pocket. I requested for the cost of it to be reversed due to it being used without my knowledge yet I need to pay the balance that would not be covered by his insurance.

<div>Ive tried asking for family help but due to me leaving so abruptly because of mental health and even safety reasons I've received no response and complete silence in return. As much as I'd wish I can take care of it myself, the job I still currently work cuts hours and does not hold their word of it getting better. I work 2 Hours a shift 5 days a week getting paid 17$/hr. My job is 30 Mins away from me and 40$ of that pay goes to my gas to get there and back home. Paying out of pocket today caused me to reach into savings I've had and set me back to my checking being absolute Zero with a few cents.

<div>I'm not one to beg or plead , but I don't want to lose myself to trying to live. Living in California is horrible. too expensive to live here and far to expensive to leave. Please if there's anyone out there that wouldn't mind just sharing this around to friends or even family to help me get back up on my feet while I keep working to support myself and my pet and even find a new job, I'll be beyond greatful beyond compare.
