I'm going through a divorce after 40 years of marriage and lost my vehicle. The car I had wasn't safe—the frame was bad, tires were bad, and the starter was unreliable. I work full time at Walmart, but I can't come up with enough for a down payment on a reliable car.or a reliable car that I can afford  I won’t need to make payments on I want to get a second job, but I can't without a car. This situation has been really stressful, just trying to get back on my feet and stay independent. Every day is a challenge, and not having reliable transportation makes it even harder to keep up with work and daily responsibilities. I worry about losing the only income I have, and it’s tough to see a way forward without help. Getting help with a down payment will let me keep my job, which means everything to me. It will also give me the chance to get a second job and support myself during this difficult time. My hope is to find stability and explore new opportunities once I have a reliable car.
