My name is Timothy, and I’ve always tried to work hard and take care of myself, but lately, life has thrown me some tough challenges. I started having breathing issues and was diagnosed with COPD. It was a difficult diagnosis, especially after learning that my big sister passed away from the same condition 11 years ago. Just before Christmas, I was back in the hospital when an ulcer burst, causing me to throw up blood and lose 50 pounds. Thankfully, I’m slowly gaining some weight back, but it’s been a long and difficult road.
I work four days a week and receive SSI, but with the rising costs of rent and insurance, it’s become nearly impossible to afford enough healthy food. I do my best to stretch what I have, but it’s hard to stay healthy when there’s not enough to go around. I know God is watching out for me, and I’m grateful for every day, but I could really use some help right now.
If you’re able to support me, I would be so thankful. Your kindness will help me cover basic needs like food, bills, and medical expenses, and give me a chance to focus on my health and recovery. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you can give.
