Amber is a hardworking single mother who has always put her family and others before herself. She’s known for her bright smile and infectious laughter, even on the toughest days. As a friend, I’ve seen her juggle multiple jobs to provide for her six children, never hesitating to lend a hand to anyone in need. Her selflessness and strength have touched so many lives in our community.

 Recently, Amber was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that has left her unable to work. This sudden turn of events has brought on overwhelming challenges—mounting medical bills, household expenses, and the daily costs of caring for her children. With her income on hold, Amber is struggling to keep up with rent, groceries, child care, and the essentials her family needs to get by.

 Kandice, my daughter, has been running her sno cone stand for over two years now. She’s poured her heart into every aspect of the business, from ordering supplies and filling out business license applications to managing the schedule and setting up at local events. Right now, we load all her equipment and supplies into my van, which limits the number and type of events she can attend due to space and scheduling challenges.

 Kandice’s dream is to expand her stand into "The Frosted Lily" by upgrading to a mobile concession trailer. This would allow her to offer a wider variety of treats and attend more community events throughout the year. We’ve found a local small business that’s been incredibly helpful during the planning stages, and we’re excited about the possibilities this upgrade could bring. While the business is seasonal and weather-dependent, Kandice is determined to make the most of every opportunity.

 We’re fundraising to help offset the cost of the trailer, as Kandice will be operating it and working to pay for it herself. Thank you for your support. <div>2/19/26 Update: David has not received any further treatment due to a lack of concern by all involved. Federal workers compensation still not accepted by any faculty in our area. The nurse case manager we were approved and promised almost a month ago still nothing from them. And FWC still has not paid. I am really feeling the panic and stress. To everyone that has helped and donated we thank each of you so much. Please continue to share. We still need help.

<div>My husband was hurt in an accident that led to head trauma. He spent 5/6 days in ICU. The accident caused serious issues that have required not only him to lose work time but also myself. <strong>David experienced a frontal and parietal skull fracture with brain bleeds.</strong> Due to the loss, a GoFundMe account is being set up to compensate for the loss of work/pay to help with bills and transportation back and forth to follow-up neuro appointments. David has been apart of the Mississippi National Guard for 21+years and lives by those military values not only in service but also in his personal life. He is the kind of man that will Always show up for anyone that needs him. He has made bonds between 155th Inf, Alpha 106th in Magee Ms, and the 890th in Gulfport. Anyone that knows him knows the kind of man he is. He has a long healing road ahead of him.
