<div>The play went back into incubation and is now emerging as a full theatrical piece called THE RED THREAD: MOTHER SONG.

<div>Actor/Singer/Composer/Writer Christine Jugueta and Sound Designer/Engineer Sharath Patel have teamed up to create this sonic world and they will be joined by long-time Broadway and New York artists to bring this piece to life.

<div>We’re seeking seed producers - early believers who will help plant this work in fertile soil so that it has a chance to take root, find a home, and grow a life of its own. Here's a breakdown:

<li>3 professionally produced songs for pitch presentation and single release (including sound design, co-production/co-arranging, mixing, mastering, music transcription, studio time) = $4,000 (discounted, these costs are easily in the $9k range)

</li>

<li>Travel/lodging/per diem for in-person recording sessions and readings = $1,000

</li>

<li>1 private reading with professional Houston-based actors for the playwright to review the material before a more formal reading (7 actors, 1 director, 1 sound designer, 1 stage manager) = $1,000

</li>

<li>1 Zoom reading with professional actors (7 actors, 1 director, 1 sound designer, 1 stage manager) = $2,000 (all contributors will be invited to this reading which will feature Broadway and New York-based artists)

ABOUT THE  PROJECT<br /><br /><em>                                                        <br />                                          “This is the time and we are the ones.” (Hopi elders)</em><br /><strong><br />The moment is ripe to midwife and manifest my life-long dream of running a retreat center.</strong> <br /><br />I am passionately committed to living sustainably and harmoniously in a small, diverse intentional community that manages a retreat center within 1-2 hours of the Bay Area.  This center would provide and hold sacred space for healing, for cultivating mindfulness, deepening creative expression, while providing ongoing opportunities for meaningful collaboration and personal growth. <br /><br />Those living on-site, along with guest artists, musicians, wellness practitioners, spiritual teachers and environmentalists, would be individuals like myself who feel called to put their gifts to greater service in the world.<br /><br />MY ROLE AND PLAN<br /><br />My role, spearheading this vision, is to launch PHASE ONE and PHASE TWO of The Red Thread Retreat Center Project.<br /><br />PHASE ONE<br /><br />After leaving my beloved Secret Garden on October 30,  I will begin traveling throughout the USA during November and December to research successful intentional communities and retreat centers.<br /><br />In 2019, I will travel to Australia, India, Indonesia and Finland to experience a variety of similar programs abroad, to fact find, ask questions, cull vital information on successful retreat center models.  As I travel, I will share my experiences with other kindred spirits who want to move The Red Thread Retreat Center Project forward. <br /><br />PHASE TWO <br /><br />Upon my return to the USA, sometime in 2019, I will collate information gathered in the field to share with potential investors and project participants.<br /><br />HOW YOU CAN HELP<br /><br /><strong>To realize this dream, I will need your generous support </strong><strong>to my gofundme campaign</strong><strong>, financial  contributions in ANY amount.
