<div>On October 30, 2025, Devon Dobek, a 51-year-old experienced hunter went missing in the Mount Hood National Forest near Fish Creek Campground outside Estacada, Oregon after harvesting a buck. His last iPhone satellite text at ~7:20 p.m. said he was "good" but packing out would take a while.

<div>Devon is an avid outdoorsman. There have been incredible and extensive efforts by Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and 100s of searchers—including drones, K-9 teams, helicopter and aircraft with thermal imaging. The search continues.

<div>My name is Jace D. Cook. I'm live in Albany, Oregon, and I am the brother-in-law of Tiffany Schoonover, who has been a close friend of Devon Dobek for the past two years. As a family member, deeply commited to finding Devon, I am helping lead this private search effort alongside his best hunting buddy and sisters. Together, we coordinate closely with law enforcement authorities with the sisters and Devon's buddy at the forefront of that interface.
