<div><strong>I am urgently organizing a GoFundMe campaign for the Hadar family (Tal, Roy, Yahav (7), Reef (4), and Libi (2 months), who live in Kibbutz Kfar Aza. On October 7, their community was overrun by Hamas terrorists who massacred as many civilians as they could while setting fire to homes and buildings.</strong>

<div>When the surprise attack began, my sister's family sought refuge in a bomb shelter in their home and hid there for 10 hours while the terrorists shooting and bombing all around and trying to open the door. Throughout it all, Roy held the door shut, and my sister calmed the kids, who were hungry and shocked. At that point, the Hamas attackers set the house on fire in hopes of killing my family inside. After enduring agonizing hours of sweltering heat, smoke began to seep into their shelter. In a courageous, split-second decision, my family made a daring, barefoot escape from the window and miraculously found an Israeli jeep that saved them. As they ran, my nephew asked his mother, "Ima (mom), is this the end of the world?"
