In March 2026, our mother was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor in her right temporal lobe. This news has been incredibly difficult for our family, and we are doing everything we can to support her as she begins treatment. As her needs have increased, it has become clear that she requires more care than we can provide on our own. We are raising funds to help cover the costs of an in-home caregiver who can be with her every day, ensuring she is safe, comfortable, and cared for during this challenging time. 
 
 
 The caregiver we have found is truly wonderful. She provides companionship, helps with feeding and showering, keeps our mom calm when she is anxious, and assists with walking and transferring from bed to chair to bathroom. She also helps with toileting and all other areas of daily care. Every dollar raised will go directly toward making sure our mom receives the support she needs to maintain her dignity and quality of life. 
 
 
 Thank you in advance for helping to keep our mom comfortable and safe. She has done so much for all of her children and family, and this is one way we can be there for her now. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us, and we are deeply grateful for any support you can offer.

Support Care for Our Mom’s Brain Tumor Journey

Hi everyone. This is really hard for me to write. The reason I haven’t talked about this much is because it is literally breaking my heart in half to even say it out loud, let alone accept that this is happening. Writing this feels surreal. My dog Parmesan tore both ACLs in his hind legs and he cannot move them at all. He is in constant, excruciating pain. Watching him go through this has been absolutely heartbreaking. He still tries to be near me. He will pull himself across the floor using only his front legs, slowly dragging his body just to lay next to me. Seeing him do that breaks me every time. Any small movement causes him pain. He cries when we have to reposition him or try to pick him up. Things that used to be normal for him are now unbearable. 
 
 
 Parmesan was such an energetic, playful, happy dog. He loved moving, following me around, being involved in everything. Now all he can do is lay still. We have to hand feed him and give him water. We use a towel or physically hold him up just so he can go to the bathroom. He cannot stand or walk on his own. After multiple vet visits, X rays, and specialist appointments, we were told surgery is the only option to relieve his pain and give him a chance to walk again. Without surgery, his condition will continue to worsen and lead to severe arthritis and permanent damage. To make this even more urgent, Parmesan has a heart murmur. That means anesthesia needs to happen as soon as possible. Waiting increases the risk to his heart and also causes more damage to his legs. 
 
 
 So far I have already spent so much on diagnostics, imaging, medications, and consults. His pet insurance denied coverage. The total cost for both surgeries plus the physical therapy he will need afterward is expected to be significant. I am honestly so embarrassed to have to ask for help, especially with how hard things are right now. But I am desperate to help my baby. Parmesan has gotten me through some of the hardest times in my life. He is my comfort, my constant, my family. He is only six years old and has so much life left to live. He deserves the chance to move without pain again. Anything helps. Truly. Donations, shares, prayers, good energy, all of it matters more than I can explain. Help Parmesan Walk Again

Hello Everyone, First, we thank everyone for taking the time to read this. It means the world to our mother and the rest of our family, and we will try our best to keep everyone updated on her progress as much as possible.  Our mother, Kelly Kennison, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer on May 30th. At first, the doctors were very optimistic and thought her cancer was in the very early stages, so we began planning for the next steps as soon as we found out. Within a few weeks, our mother had pain in her left shoulder and armpit, and the doctors decided to do an emergency procedure on July 1st, which resulted in a total left mastectomy. The doctors had determined that her pain was the result of her cancer spreading to most of her lymph nodes on her left side and removed as much as they could, but she will need an aggressive chemo treatment. Our mother had stopped working just before her surgery, and we were optimistic she could return to work once she healed, but her chemo treatments have been too aggressive, and she has been unable to return to work for quite some time. The doctors have communicated that she will be on chemotherapy until January of 2020, and then she will start her radiation treatment, but we do not know for how long at this point.  We are optimistic that everything will end up being okay; our mother is strong and has always fought for herself and her children. However, none of us were ready for the financial impact it would have on us, and the bills are piling up. We have applied for anything and everything to help mitigate the impact it has had on us, but it has only provided very little support while our mother is unable to work. We are trying the best we can, but at this rate, we are in fear of being unable to get our mother to the end of the treatment she needs and keeping a roof over her head. There is no donation too small, and we are only asking for the help needed to get our mother to the end of her treatment. Kelly Kennison's Journey with  Breast Cancer

The sudden loss of a husband, son, brother, friend, and father leads to many unexpected changes.  We have created this GoFundMe at the request of the many individuals looking for a way to support Amanda and her family as they make this difficult transition.  The funds received will be used at Amanda’s discretion for their day-to-day life, for which she is now the sole provider, giving her a measure of relief during this time of processing and grief.   From life-long relationships to short encounters, Kirk made a lasting, positive impact on the life of everyone he met.  He leaves a void in many of our lives, both in the local community and around the world, and will be greatly missed.
