Hi, I am India Huffman & the owner is Allen Pruitt. The old Coppermine Grill has recently closed & we are determined to quickly re-open it !!! Laurel Springs, NC area. There isn't but one other restaurant in the area so it's pretty remote. We want to do this on our own, something to be proud of, making people happy to be able to come sit down and enjoy a home-cooked meal. That is our goal. We are working as hard and quickly as possible to get the restaurant ready to open back up! Any donations will go to the exterior & interior as well as kitchen equipment or supplies.
My dream has always been to bring a place with home-cooked comfort foods to our small town, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Recently, the local restaurant closed its doors after the cook received an offer he couldn’t resist, leaving our community without a gathering spot. Since then, I’ve been working every day to get the kitchen spotless and ready to pass health and safety inspections. We’re so close to reopening, and the excitement from everyone in our town has been incredible—there just aren’t many places like this around here, and people are eager to have it back. To make this dream a reality, I need a little help. The funds raised will go toward updating the dining bar area, getting a few much-needed supplies, and covering the cost of initial food orders so we can open our doors again. While any equipment upgrades would be wonderful, I’m prepared to make do with what we have if needed. Every dollar will help us bridge the gap until we can start bringing in our own income, which I’m confident won’t take long once we’re up and running. I hate to even ask for help, but I truly believe that when we reopen, the whole community will feel like they played a part in making it happen. Most people already know the exciting news and are ready for us to get started. Any spare funds would be such a help and blessing, and if you’re unable to donate, please know that your support still means the world to us. Right now, it’s just myself and the owner working hard to get everything ready, and it can be a little stressful at times. Anyone who donates will be recognized at our grand opening, and once we’re successful, I hope to be able to give back to those who helped us along the way. Thank you for considering being part of this journey!
