<div>TEX+ is a charity driven by a group for whom textiles has been the foundation of their diverse career paths. Textiles by nature have wide ranging applications and are integral to all our lives. ​

<div>Our mission is to coalesce professionals across textile disciplines with the next generation of textile practitioners, offering guidance and opportunities for young people as they embark on their professional lives. ​

<div>TEX+ is acknowledged as being of public benefit and in December 2024 TEX+ achieved Charitable Incorporated Organisation status by the Charity Commission of England and Wales (Registered Charity Number 1211314).

Texplus Nuturing New textile Talent

Everybody knows the NHS are doing heroic things at the moment, when our country needs it most.  Their bravery, and unrelenting commitment in combatting Covid-19 is so inspirational, and I would really like to help them by raising some money that supports their efforts.  <br /><br />Now my hero is my brother, Lewis.  For a guy from pretty humble beginnings to go on and win six F1 world titles is something really extraordinary, and he inspires me every day to try and do extraordinary things in my own life.  <br /><br />Lewis has walked up the steps to the podium in F1 151 times in his career.  So as a homage to that achievement, I am going to walk up and down the steps in my garden 151 times, which is not so easy for me with Cerebral Palsy.<br /><br /><br />I will be doing this challenge on Friday 24th April 2020 and will be broadcasting it on Instagram LIVE from 1:30pm (@nicolashamilton). Any level of donation would be greatly appreciated, as I work to help the NHS fight this virus that is affecting so many lives.<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Nic
