Tanya Cummings

My name is Tanya, and I am reaching out for help for my husband, Ronald Cummings. Recently, our family went through a terrifying ordeal when our neighbors attacked our daughter. Ronald stepped in to defend her because she was in real danger, and in that moment, we all feared for our safety. The situation escalated quickly—one of the neighbors struck Ronald over the head with a chair. I knew we had to get out of there, so we left, but things only got more complicated from there. The next day, after being interviewed by the police, our apartment complex was surrounded, and Ronald was arrested in a very public and frightening way. Since then, his lawyer has not even spoken to him, and I am desperate to get him the proper legal counsel he deserves. This has turned our lives upside down. I am a stay-at-home mother, and within two weeks of Ronald being taken away, I lost our apartment because he was our main support. I am struggling to care for our family and keep things together while trying to find a way to help Ronald. The funds raised here will go directly toward hiring a paid attorney for Ronald and helping me get back on my feet so I can provide for our family during this incredibly difficult time. Everyone who knows Ronald knows he is a good man who was only trying to protect his daughter. He never intended for any of this to happen, and he certainly didn’t want things to turn violent.
