<div>As many of you may recall, I survived a brutal attack by my ex-spouse in 2022 that resulted in a two-week hospitalization. My injuries included a broken acetabulum, a fractured pelvis, a ruptured meniscus, and impinged nerves in my neck. It has been an arduous journey to recover physically, emotionally, and financially after being confined to a wheelchair and my home for a year.

<div>While my ex-spouse was convicted and I have a permanent restraining order, the physical damage remains. My injuries are permanent and require additional surgeries, as well as ongoing occupational and physical therapy. What was initially estimated as a six-month rehabilitation has turned into a lifelong challenge.

<div>I am currently working through the years-long SSDI application process, but my case remains pending. In the meantime, I am seeking community support to help cover accumulating medical equipment costs and daily living expenses. My goal is simply to remain safe and solvent as I continue this recovery.

Reclaiming my future: A DV healing journey

<div>Hello all. I've been diagnosed with both lung and brain cancers, and am currently undergoing treatment - both chemo and now radiation.  My doc feels like they both can be beat!  Unfortunately, the co-pays for treatment have wiped out my savings -and my home is no longer insured due to needing a new roof- so I'm reaching out for help to cover both treatment costs and to put a non-leaking roof on our home. <div>Hi, my name is Samantha Lamin-Green and I am fundraising for my Sister In-Law Lyndsey Vargas-Lamin. Lyndsey passed away unexpectedly in her sleep July 5th. I was asked by my brother Delano to setup this account due to an outpouring of people asking how can they help.

<div>Lyndsey was a very caring, loving and thoughtful person. She was very vocal about her love for her husband and son, as she would call Delano #1 and Delano #2. She was hands down a GREAT mother, astronomical support to her son's future. Her son had a 5 year plan at just 5 years old. Lyndsey was there for all of Delano #2's milestones. Most recently, his 18th birthday and high school graduation. We are deeply saddened that she will not be there in the physical for more.

<div>Let us not forget Lyndsey's humbleness. I kept in touch with Lyndsey pretty often and we had a good relationship. And though I do not use Twitter myself, I was shocked to see the following she has. I had no idea, she never mentioned it. She never mentioned she was doing all this good work, touching people's lives across the country. The outpouring of messages and condolences from friends has been overwhelming and appreciated. It says a lot about a person when people who have never met you, want to leave a message about how you impacted their lives.

The family finds comfort in them and Delano #2 needs to know what a great force his mother was. For those who would like to do something please use this account to donate.
