Blossom Wild Summer Camp was created from a simple but powerful belief: children need nature. In a world where so many kids are growing up disconnected from the outdoors, overwhelmed by screens, stress, isolation, and overstimulation, we wanted to create something different. Something real. Something healing. At Taino Farm in Jamao, Dominican Republic, we are building a safe, nature-based experience where children can reconnect with the earth, with community, and with themselves. Our summer camp is more than just activities. It is a space where children can swim in rivers, plant food, care for animals, build confidence, create friendships, explore creativity, and experience the kind of freedom and connection many children rarely get to feel anymore. We are welcoming local families, international families, homeschoolers, wellness-centered families, adventurous children, and teens who are longing for something deeper than another indoor program. This project is also the foundation of a much bigger vision. Blossom is the beginning of what we hope will become a future forest school and outdoor educational space rooted in nature connection, mindfulness, creativity, organic living, emotional wellbeing, and experiential learning. We already have the land and venue through Taino Farm. What we need now is support to safely and beautifully bring this vision to life for the children.
