I have just recently moved. I have an older car and I am working desperately to keep it on the road. I don't drive a lot, but I really don't want to go back to depending on the bus system. The car's brakes and struts need to be replaced. The cost is going to be $1,400. I live on a limited income and would appreciate any help.

My car had to go into the shop for some expensive repairs. I find myself needing help. I live on Social Security, so my personal funds are limited. The car is my only means of transportation. Taking the bus is not a viable option as the closest bus stop is a ten-minute walk away, and I am not a spring chicken anymore.
