<div>The story I'm about to tell you go back to 2018 when my first contracted position ended.  I moved across Canada, and started a family.  Purchased a home, a car, and nothing extravagant just wants what most people want. 4 walls, a family, a car, and you get the picture.

<div>First went I got out west I had a contracted position that I was told would last more then 8 years.  Instead it lasted about 4.  By this time as a family we had already purchased our first home, and where starting to plan our life together.   Going with the sudden job loss from the contract ending sooner then later I was told I also had health complications.  At the time I proscribed all these medications, and was told I had MS.  It would be 2 years, and a lot of money spent on those medications before I was told by a neurologist after looking at my X rays that I in fact did not have MS, and that I did not need all those medications.  During this time my father moved in with us to help take care of the bills, and mortgage payments, and this was fine until he suddenly passed August 2019.

<div>Once again we where hurtled back into Mortgage, and bill difficulty's while I tried to find new employment.  When my fathers estate did pay out the bank at the time that held our mortgage swallowed our pay out from his estate leaving us once again owing on bills, and the Mortgage.  Many false starts, and 2 years spent working around the construction industry in 2024 we made a choice to redo the mortgage with the help of a professional we thought we could trust based on friends suggestions.  While yes on one hand they did roll all our owing into a new mortgage the amount we needed to pay out was higher then what we where used to.

<div>In our to counter this we had a opportunity to have a friend of the family move in.   I even got them employment, and they co-signed as a guarantor on the new mortgage.  They agreed to a monthly funding amount they would pay while living with us to help us out.  I even found them employment more then once.  How ever this also did not work out either.

<div>Due to lack of payment situation again where we had to agree to a NEW payment plan that we knew if we failed one payment they would foreclose and take our home.  We made it though 4 months of the payment plan up until December.  When they stopped paying the agreed upon amount that was less then the original amount per month when we first re did the mortgage, and way less then the amount we all needed to pay in when we had to re do the payment plan.

<div>We looked back over the payment history with them "helping us", and realized there was always fluctuations in the payments they would give us that we had to then cover our self's.   We started aggressively selling off things around the house I had originally intended for retirement but at the time I thought "well this stuff was saved in case of a situation like this so I forged ahead.  We sold our family car, any action figures, comic books, if it was not nailed down it had to go.  But it seemed like every time I made some cash selling things off the payment from the guy staying with us shrank.  It got the point by December I had exhausted any extra cash I had made.  With my significant other working as well it was still not enough.

<div>On top of this, we paid for the majority of the bills, and food.   I will spare you the details but a lack of respect, and a lack of the agreed to payment help amount lead us to having to have them removed from our home.  Plus there where damages they did, half assed repairs, and things that would go onto effect my income, and my family as a whole.   Having there kind of help drained us financially.

<div>Me still not wanting to have to tell our kid he would have to lose his home, and his bed room.  I kept going asking relatives for help to which I was told there would be none.  Asking friends, and while a lot of people said they would be there to help when it came down to it there was nothing but silence.

<div>So that brings me here to go fund me.  Where when my dad passed away I came here, and asked for help.  There was none no one clicked on our campaign nothing happened.  So today I am trying one last time to raise the $10,000 I need to pay down the mortgage so we can keep our home we have fought so long to keep.  I do not really have any other options besides selling off the remains of everything I own. Or well losing the home we have never really gotten the chance to make our own with all that has happened.

<div>I also am adding another $10,000 to help us repair the damages done to our home, and help us with the bills inquired as well.
