<div>Hello, My name is Bianca. I am 12 years old and I am an amazing Aerialist student of Aerial Dreaming Circus School, Gympie Qld. I am here to tell the world, that I have been selected to represent the Australian Team at the International Aerial Arts World Championships, this August in Aruba. Aruba is located in the Southern Carribean, just north of South America. There are 10 Aerialists that make up Team Australia, 3 of us (including myself and my 2 beautiful Aerial friends Ella and Haylea) are from Aerial Dreaming Circus School, Gympie. We could've have got this far without coaches- Miss Bec &amp; Miss Shae.

<div>At the age of 1, I started climbing the  same day I learned to walk, and I haven’t really stopped since.  At 4 I started learning gymnastics and at age 7, discovered my true love of aerial arts when Mum signed me up up for my first trial day at Aerial Dreaming Circus School in January 2022.  Over the last 4 years  I have competed in 11 Bend the Air Competitions, bringing home 12 trophies, including 1st place for 7-9 years Silks at the Bend The Air Nationals in January 2025, and only recently on April 9th 2026, I placed 1st at Bend The Air Regionals, for Open Apparatus Solo Under 12s. This means that once again I am eligible to compete at 2026 Nationals.  I was also lucky enough to be the 2025 Excellence Scholarship recipient for Aerial Dreaming Circus School. When Im not training at ADCS, youll find me swinging from my own aerial rig home in my backyard.  I enjoy performing for an audience showing a sassy stage personality, love any kind of upbeat tunes.  Aerial has become my passion, I am fully dedicated to my training and always striving to improve, while having fun with my aerial ‘family’.  I currently have a busy training schedule, of around 4-5 days a week at the ADCS studio and Ilove very minute of it.

Aerial, the sport receives no government funding, so athletes and their families plus their coaches have to fund everything themselves. So at the moment, Mum and I are going to set a goal of $10,000 which will go towards my cost of flights, accommodation, team uniform, training prior to the world championships. <div>Walking into a CrossFit gym for the first time was incredibly daunting—but the moment I picked up a barbell (with my left arm!) three years ago, everything changed. I found strength, confidence, and a community that truly feels like family.

<div>Roar is a beautiful little ginger and white boy, estimated to be 12 weeks old. Despite his age, he weighs only 1 kg, leaving him severely underweight, malnourished and incredibly vulnerable. 

</div>

</div>

<div>Late last night, a kind member of the public found Roar soaking wet, weak and alone under her car. She didn’t hesitate to help, taking him inside and keeping him warm, safe and dry until I could collect him first thing this morning. As soon as he was in my care, Roar was rushed straight to my vets , where he was admitted for emergency treatment.

<div>Before Roar came into my care, a post had already been made about his unusual head movements in the hope that someone could help him. Sadly, most of the advice offered was simply to take him to the vets or have him scanned for a microchip. While those suggestions were well intended, they didn’t change the fact that this tiny kitten was still lying there, cold, soaked, malnourished and desperately needing someone to physically step in and help.

<div>Thankfully, that’s exactly what happened. Knowing I have experience caring for special needs and critically ill cats, I was contacted and immediately made arrangements to collect him. Without the kindness of the lady who kept him safe overnight and reached out for help, I honestly don’t know what Roar’s outcome would have been.

<div>Sometimes these kittens don’t just need advice… they need someone willing to act. 

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>What worried me most were the neurological signs he was showing, including abnormal head twitching and unusual head movements.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Roar has now undergone blood tests and other diagnostics. Thankfully, some of the more serious diseases have already come back negative, which is wonderful news. However, his blood work suggests he may be fighting an infection, and we are still searching for answers.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>One of the conditions still being investigated is neurological FIP, along with several other possible causes of his symptoms. At this stage, we simply don’t know what we’re dealing with, but we do know he needs further diagnostics, treatment, medications and supportive care.

</div>

</div>

<div>My rescue is already stretched beyond its limits, and I am still caring for the many cats already depending on me every single day, including my colony cats. I simply can’t say yes to every animal in need. But when a tiny kitten is found after midnight, soaking wet, critically unwell and with nowhere else to go, walking away simply wasn’t an option.

</div>

<div>Unfortunately, emergency veterinary care is incredibly expensive, and after the recent emergencies involving several other cats, I simply cannot cover these costs alone.

 We came across this little baby crying 2 days ago. We were on the other side of the road, but something made us turn around… and there he was. This tiny soul had been left exposed, crying in the cold, all alone.

 He was so vulnerable, and with the winter weather and dangers around him, we don’t know how much longer he would have survived out there.

 We set up a trap and a carrier for him, but he was too scared to go inside. After sitting out in the cold trying to get him safe, we wrapped him in our jumper and brought him to safety.

 We are already way beyond capacity, but we couldn’t walk away and leave this sweet little munchkin behind.
</div>

 Little Crumpet now needs to be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and will need lots of supplies to help him settle into his new foster home.

<div>She was found abandoned while heavily pregnant whilst she was a baby herself. We rushed to bring her into our rescue, where she safely gave birth and devoted herself completely to raising her two precious babies. Despite everything she had endured, Cookie has been the most loving and doting mum.

<div>Recently, we discovered a large lump on her body. Fearing the worst, we rushed her to the vet. The mass was urgently removed and has now been sent to the lab for testing to determine whether it is cancerous.

<div>The surgery has already made such a difference. But we are still anxiously waiting for answers, and the veterinary and laboratory costs have been incredibly expensive.

My name is Olivia, and this year I had the incredible honor of joining the national Australian softball team. Even though I only started playing this summer, the journey has already taken me to places I never imagined—like China and Japan—where I experienced new cultures and grew as both an athlete and a person. I am also a Division 1 athlete at the University of South Florida, where I continue to develop my skills and compete at a high level. Now, I’ve been invited to compete in three major tournaments across Australia during Christmas, including a rare chance to play against the United States national team, the top-ranked team in the world. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to test myself against the best and continue developing my skills at the highest level.

Last minute flights and accommodation from Perth aren’t cheap and all my savings have gone into this trip across Australia that we’ve been saving and planning for many years now.

I have competed on the world tour a bit over the years and won at the events with slabbing barrels like Pipeline Hawaii, Canary Islands and Puerto Rico. <div>I'm Lara Hamilton — Sydney-born trail runner, ski mountaineer, and Australia's first women's Olympic ski mountaineer at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games. Off the mountain I have a master's in music, trained in opera, and perform as DJ Solara. I work minimum wage to stay in Europe where the racing is. I have no sponsor, no national funding, and no coach I can afford to pay.

<div>What I do have: a qualification for the Mountain Running World Cup circuit this season, which takes place all over the world. In 2024 I placed 6th at the Mountain Running World Cup Final in the vertical kilometre, the best result an Australian woman has ever recorded in that discipline. That same year I finished the Golden Trail World Series ranked 27th overall. I've represented Australia at Trail Running and Ski-Mountaineering World Championships and podiumed at races across Europe.

<div>None of it was handed to me. Every result was fought for — through pain, on a shoestring, alone.

<div>Here's what nobody tells you about elite sport without a sponsor: qualifying is the easy part. Funding it is where dreams quietly die.

<div>The World Cup circuit means flights, transport, and accommodation across multiple countries — Europe, California, Canada, and the Asia-Pacific. On top of that, managing AS isn't free. Medications, physio, the daily cost of keeping my body functional enough to train at this level — it adds up before I've even booked a flight. Every cent from my minimum wage job goes toward staying healthy enough to compete. There is nothing left over for the season itself. I can't even afford a coach right now.

<div>The Junior Olympic games has 30 sports, ranging from your traditional sports like track and field, and swimming, all the way to my love and passion of sports stacking.

<div>My name is Mia McMillan, and I am incredibly honoured to have been selected to represent Australia in the discipline of Cutting at the National High School Rodeo Finals in Lincoln, Nebraska this July.

<div>This is the world’s largest youth rodeo, and to be chosen to compete on this stage is something I am so proud of. It is an opportunity that has come from years of hard work, early mornings, long drives, late nights, and a whole lot of love for horses.
</div>

</div>
<div>My horse journey started when I was very young. Before cutting, I competed in mini trotting, where I learnt so much about responsibility, discipline, horsemanship and never giving up. I was lucky enough to achieve some amazing things from a young age, including winning the State Mini Trotting Championships at Tamworth and later being selected as one of the NSW representatives for the Mini Trot Inter Dominion. I also had the honour of winning the Mini Trotters Miracle Mile at Menangle.

<div>As I grew, my love for horses led me into the sport of cutting — a sport that takes patience, feel, timing, courage and a huge amount of trust between horse and rider. Cutting has become my passion, and over the past few years I have been working hard to keep improving, learning and competing against some of the best youth riders in the country.

<div>Some of my recent cutting achievements include winning Junior Youth titles, taking out the Junior Youth Championship at the AQHA Q25 National Show, and placing first in the NHSFR Cutting Qualifier with a score of 216.5. To now have the opportunity to wear the green and gold and represent Australia in Nebraska is something I will never take for granted.

<div>Hi, my name is Georgia Williams, I am 14 year old Australian and despite having multiple chronic health conditions, I am determined not to let these conditions define me or stop me from attending the 2026 Karate World Cup in the United Kingdom later this year.

<div>I began karate in October 2023, not with dreams of world titles, but simply to survive. I was experiencing severe bullying, which left me with little to no confidence and sent my nervous system haywire causing Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and other chronic health conditions as well as leading to a diagnosis of my pre-existing hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) Karate became a safe place for me, a way to rebuild my self-belief and regain control over my life. What I never expected was how quickly it would grow into a passion, a purpose and how important it would be to help strengthen my body.

<div>These conditions affect my energy, mobility, and daily functioning, but I refuse to let them stop me from what I can achieve. Despite these challenges, I usually train 2–4 days a week for multiple hours per session as well as assisting in teaching karate for around four classes each week. In 2022, I was selected for the University of Colorado Boulder Cheer Team, but was unable to accept the position due to the cost of international tuition. While both experiences were disappointing, they reaffirmed my drive to one day represent Australia doing what I love.

Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to improving, competing, and continuing my dream of representing Australia again on the international stage.

<div>On top of that, we need to prepare a safe, warm space for her and her babies—towels, bedding, a playpen, and other essentials. The costs are adding up quickly, and we want to give her the best chance possible.
