What they care about

At one time I was able to donate and help some people but currently I'm in no position to do that. I still try and support with my heart and words of comfort🩷

This matters to me because I am really struggling and need immediate help if you're able. Please consider donating with even small amounts. I cannot express how thankful I am. I was catastrophically injured on 2 occasions. I live in constant agony🩷

STACI’S CATASTROPHIC MEDICAL JOURNEY – I NEED IMMEDIATE HELP TO SURVIVE WARNING GRAPHIC PICTURES _________________________________ PLEASE READ THIS GFM WARNING GRAPHIC PICTURES My friends and neighbors...I never imagined I would be in this position. Right now, I am absolutely penniless and at risk of losing the only home that accommodates my disability. If I lose my home, I don’t have the physical ability to relocate. I am extremely weak. I am actively trying to get help, but the system is slow, denials and I do not have time. This fundraiser is truly about survival and getting the proper pain relieving methods not covered by insurance. . My life changed forever just after my 13th birthday. That morning, I made the All-Star Softball Team. That night, I was partially dragged down hanging out the door of an ice cream truck on I-75 in a catastrophic accident. Two years later, I was struck by a car. Both drivers were uninsured teens. Since then, I’ve endured a lifetime of unimaginable medical trauma: close to 70 surgeries, 42 in the Burn Unit although not burned, shattered pelvis that was completely separated and broken in 6 places and broken again in 6 places in the second accident, 700+ days hospitalized, 15 broken bones, 4 months in traction in the Burn Unit, and eventually 15 years later an above-knee amputation with 3 revisions and 30 years of unbearable pain. I broke my back in 3 places last September. I have Degenerative Disc Disease and Scoliosis. My injuries included a Shattered Femur, degloving injury, body can't cool itself. Because I have an autonomic nervous system dysfunction and medication side effects. Serotonin Syndrome. It's debilitating and I can't go anywhere nor purchase anything. I live with excruciating phantom limb pain and excruciating back pain but it has recently changed. It's called telescoping and it's considered one of the most brutal types of pain there is and it's hard to treat. I've been in a WC for 30 straight years so it's taken a toll. Sciatica along with dangerous overheating episodes that make even basic tasks unsafe. I can't go anywhere and I'm confined to the bedroom for almost 6 months because of no central air. using a window unit. I was thrust into poverty overnight due to my medical condition. I urgently need help to save my wheelchair-accessible home from foreclosure, cover basic survival needs (basic daily items we use, utilities, property taxes, medical care not covered by insurance for my pain). Racoons also are in my attic for the 2nd time and I have no idea what to do. I'm severely behind on utilities, property taxes and can't access television for comfort and distraction. Nor access critical pain therapies not covered by insurance like Deep Brain Stimulation. I know I contradicted myself as I repeated a few things but I hurt so bad I can't focus. I am trying to access treatments that could reduce my suffering, including outpatient IV therapy, inpatient medical coma with specific medications that can reset your central nervous system giving huge relief. I know of other amputees that have undergone the same thing but I would need to collect about 60,000 and I'm barely getting any action. Also, advanced nerve therapies, and neurological interventions. These are not covered by insurance—they are my only hope for relief. I must be financially secure before I could attempt these possibilities. I must endure the horrible withdrawal from certain medications due to Serotonin Syndrome. It's never been about addiction. It's dependency and tolerance . I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone, ever. Doctors are being paid not to help millions with chronic debilitating pain. You wouldn't believe what they put us through and only prescribing Tylenol for major surgeries and accident survivors. Some Of What I’ve Endured: • Almost 70 Surgeries • 700+ days as an inpatient • 15 broken bones • 4 months in traction in the Burn Unit • 3 daily dressing changes that left me terrified and traumatized • 3 Cross Foot Flaps (bedridden & hospitalized 3.5 months+ 2 more months of PT for each) • Heel Cord Lengthening • Severe PTSD and Anxiety • Scoliosis & Degenerative Disc Disease •Rhabdomyolysis (muscle wasting) • Dental implant nightmare/Severe Dry Mouth • Code Blue (2001) • Severe overheating from Autonomic Nervous System Dysfunction & medications Excruciating Phantom Limb Pain & Sciatica Serotonin Syndrome • 10 Surgeries To Place Gortex To Replace The Fascia Which Was All Torn Away on my Buttocks Years Earlier about every 5 years on both sides…and so much more. Last picture WARNING GRAPHIC PICTURES BELOW I’ve spent decades in pain, trauma, rehabilitation and uncertainty—but I refuse to let it define me. Lately I cry everyday and without your help I won't survive. This is very serious. I hate putting my life out there. This Is All My Parents Saw Until 7 Years Later. They Had No Idea How Catastrophically Injured I Was. I'm So Grateful For Them It is incredibly hard to share this publicly, but I am fighting every day to survive. Saving my home means saving my life. I NEED IMMEDIATE help for every kind of bill each month until I'm approved for SSI which is a long painful process. I must pay DTE 250.00 a month on top of my monthly payment. Water is 446.00 and trash is 1000+. Still owe 2025 Property taxes going on 2026 in a few months. Please consider donating anything you can. I appreciate you so much for your time and help. Please share my fundraiser or send words of encouragement. Every bit of support helps me fight for my home and my life. I want to keep my dignity. Feel free to ask questions. With gratitude and hope. WARNING GRAPHIC PICTURES BELOW I Had That Leg For 15 Years. I Never Imagined I'd Be In The Battle For My Life Because Of The Excruciating Phantom Limb Pain. It's crushing, gnawing, burning and electric shocks that last for days without sleep. If I can make it financially I have a chance to reclaim my life. Please, I can only do this with your help. Thank you I was trying to raise 54,000 but dropped it to 15,000. I wish you would leave a comment wherever you clicked on this from and tell me what I'm doing wrong and what I can do to encourage donations? Thank you I've had 10 surgeries as I needed Gortex/picture below and permanent sutures to hold the muscle as it just hung down, as the fascia, which covers and keeps your muscles where they belong was all torn away. It needs to be replaced on both sides plus I need a major revision of my residual limb/stump. I cannot fulfill these without being financially secure. Please consider donating. I have helped many people I didn't know through the years but now I need help. Thank you for your time and consideration. With warm and gentle thoughts. With gratitude and appreciation for your time and help
