<div>Every day, countless stray animals roam the streets in search of food, shelter, and companionship. These animals are often neglected, abused, and left to fend for themselves, with no one to care for them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As an animal lover, it breaks my heart to see these innocent creatures suffer. That's why I'm starting this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for Paws Foundation. They work tirelessly to provide stray animals with the care and attention they deserve.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> The money raised will be used to cover the costs of food, shelter, medical care, and rehabilitation for these animals.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With your help, we can give them a second chance at life and find them loving forever homes. Your donation, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in the lives of these animals.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please consider contributing to this campaign and help us make a positive impact in our community. Together, we can help stray animals find the love and care they need to thrive.

HELP STRAY ANIMALS IN PAKISTAN

<div>Todd's Welfare Society (TWS) is a small registered non-profit organisation, based in Lahore that came into existence in 2016. TWS aims to save, rescue, and treat the street animals of Lahore and also works to promote animal welfare in Pakistan. Our work to protect these vulnerable animals is extremely difficult in a country with no animal welfare laws or provisions. The condition of stray animals is pitiful as animal abuse is rife, with dogs being routinely starved, shot, and poisoned. Dogs such as Mercy, whose leg had to be amputated after being beaten mercilessly.
</div>

</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/78542757_1708972405651595_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We at TWS are trying to save these animals in a society where these animals are considered unclean or a nuisance, not worthy of life. These animals have no one to turn to, but we try to help as many as possible by providing them with shelter, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and searching for forever homes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/78542757_1708973213112101_r." width="100%" />

<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2021 / 2022 we ran fundraisers to help secure funds for a bigger and better sanctuary. Our current sanctuary is too small, and due to lack of space, we cannot help as many rescues as we want. We were over the moon when the target was achieved, but we met a significant obstacle. We planned on purchasing one acre of land but with time we realised that one acre would not meet our needs. After a great deal of legwork and research, we have finally found the land that will be perfect for our hospital and sanctuary.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>We are now actually purchasing extra land on which we will have the donkey sanctuary – this will be the largest donkey sanctuary in Pakistan. </strong>
</div>
<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The lifespan of a healthy and well-looked-after donkey is 25 – 30 years, but that is not the case in Pakistan, where the life span of a working donkey is 10 – 12 years. They work day and night without proper access to food, water, or medical treatment. And after all these years of hard service once too sick or injured they will be discarded like rubbish and left to die.

<div><strong>One of the most heart-breaking cases ever was that of baby April.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tiny and weak, she had several open wounds on her body and was suffering from rectal prolapse. Her chances of survival were low but we felt she deserved a chance. Sadly, April did not make it but she made us realise that we have to do more for these poor creatures. Life had not been kind to April but we have to help all the others like her suffering daily.

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our kind supporters will know that we carry out TNVR projects within Lahore. This has shown us how desperately we need a separate TNVR facility with kennels, a clinic, an operating theatre, and post-op kennels. A separate TNVR facility will mean that we can spay and neuter as many street dogs as possible to reduce the population humanely and protect them from being culled.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/78542757_1708972728713759_r." width="100%" />

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We need to build more dog kennels and larger cat enclosures to accommodate more rescues.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/78542757_17090415645966_r.jpeg" width="100%" />

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We desperately need bigger and better quarantine facilities to avoid the risk of cross-contamination as these animals often carry contagious diseases.

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We also have no post-op areas for dogs to allow them to recover fully and without mixing. We need a separate area exclusively for puppies. Sadly, a common occurrence in our work is having to rescue orphan puppies, tiny babies who have lost their mothers to dog culling.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/78542757_1708973025957206_r." width="100%" />

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our current sanctuary has helped us to save so many precious lives but it’s now time to upgrade our facilities. We envision a state-of-the-art shelter to help those coming through our doors.

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Once the architectural plans are ready, we will be sharing them including a cost-by-cost breakdown of the build. But for the start, we will need funds to purchase the additional land, build the boundary wall, lay all sewerage pipes, and pay all costs for approvals from the Environmental Protection Department, the Planning and Development Department, and our architect.

I fundraise for TWS outside of Pakistan so that as many animals as possible can be saved. Once the funds are raised, I forward them to our finance team.

Help TWS build Pakistan's Largest Animal Sanctuary

<img alt="56210088_1635523263769442_r.jpeg" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/56210088_1635523263769442_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many years ago, when ACF was just a small team with a big dream, this very GoFundMe became our first real lifeline.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We were a fledgling rescue trying to save a handful of animals on borrowed time and borrowed space. There were no animal rights in sight. No support systems. No public understanding. But we had a mission: to rescue, rehabilitate, and restore dignity to the forgotten animals of Pakistan.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Back then, we only had 4 animals in our shelter. Today — thanks in large part to the support we’ve received through this very campaign — we are housing over 1,800 rescued animals on 1.25 acres of rented land while actively building Pakistan’s first-ever dedicated animal rescue sanctuary on our very own 2.25 acres of purchased land.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This GoFundMe has been running for over 7 years, created by one of our earliest and most loyal supporters, Amad, who believed in our mission when we had almost nothing — just heart and hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of your support here, we’ve been able to:
</div>
<div>	•	Rescue and care for over 35,000 animals to date
</div>
<div>	•	Run a 911-style city-wide rescue service across Karachi, the 7th largest city in the world, responding to 30–40 emergency calls every day
</div>
<div>	•	Feed, treat, and provide shelter to animals ranging from dogs and cats to donkeys, monkeys, eagles, goats, cows, and more
</div>
<div>	•	Offer free medical care to donkey owners, run mass TNVR programs, and push for real, systemic change in how animals are treated in Pakistan
</div>
<div>	•	Build, from the ground up, the country’s first animal rescue sanctuary, where abused, homeless, and vulnerable animals will always have a place to call home
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This GoFundMe has been — and still is — our anchor. It’s how we’ve managed to keep going, through crisis after crisis, day after day, animal after animal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, we’ve increased our goal to $500,000 — not because we’re starting over, but because we’ve come so far, and we’re closer than ever to completing this sanctuary and securing a forever future for the animals who depend on us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please donate to this GoFundMe if you believe in compassion. If you believe animals matter. If you believe that a small team in Pakistan can continue making a massive difference — one life at a time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is our lifeline. You are our hope. And this sanctuary will be your legacy, too.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love and gratitude,
</div>

From 4 to Saving Thousand's - Let’s Finish What We Started!

Simon Ashall

<div>Stray, abused, and injured animals in Pakistan are suffering every day. Without shelter, medical care, or food, they endure unimaginable cruelty on the streets. At TAWF, we refuse to let them suffer alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> About TAWF: A Lifeline for Stray Animals</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Tahira Animal Welfare Foundation (TAWF) is a registered Scottish charity in the UK (SC050204), fully audited and monitored by UK authorities—so you can trust your donation is in safe hands. Even better, if you're a UK taxpayer, your gift qualifies for Gift Aid, which boosts your donation by an extra 25% at no extra cost to you. That means a £20 donation becomes £25 instantly! It’s a powerful way to help more animals with every pound you give. Your support truly goes further—thank you for making a difference.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tahira Animal Welfare Foundation (TAWF) is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting animals in Faisalabad—Pakistan’s third-largest city. We are the only organization providing:
</div>
<div>✅ 24/7 animal rescue services
</div>
<div>✅ Medical treatment for the sick &amp; injured
</div>
<div>✅ Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) programs
</div>
<div>✅ A no-kill shelter offering a second chance at life
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over 500 rescued animals rely on us at any time, but our current shelter is on rented land, and the lease ends in December 2025. If we don’t act now, they will lose their only safe haven.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/80791059_1741698440154516_r.png" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> The Urgent Need: A Permanent Animal Sanctuary</strong>
</div>
<div>To continue saving lives, we have secured land to build a large-scale animal sanctuary. This project will provide:
</div>
<div>✔️ Safe shelter for thousands of homeless and rescued animals
</div>
<div>✔️ Medical care &amp; surgeries in a dedicated hospital block
</div>
<div>✔️ TNVR facilities to humanely control stray animal populations
</div>
<div>✔️ A sustainable rescue center using solar power &amp; biogas
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But we need urgent funding to make this happen! Every day we wait, more animals suffer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/80791059_1741698573444375_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Total Funds Needed: £120,000</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What Needs to Be Built:</strong>
</div>
<div>To ensure proper care, treatment, and rehabilitation, the sanctuary will include:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Dog Sanctuary &amp; Kennels (Capacity 1,000+ dogs)</strong>
</div>
<div>Spacious, secure kennels where rescued dogs can heal in a stress-free environment. Once recovered, they’ll move into sanctuary to live freely and safely.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Cattery (Capacity 1,500+ cats)</strong>
</div>
<div>A dedicated sanctuary providing care for rescued stray and abandoned cats.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Aviary (Capacity</strong> <strong>200+ birds)</strong>
</div>
<div>A safe, enriched space for rescued birds needing long-term care and rehabilitation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Equine Sheds (Capacity</strong> <strong>200+ equines)</strong>
</div>
<div>Shelters for donkeys, horses, and mules rescued from abuse, abandonment, or harsh labor.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Farm Animal Sheds (Capacity</strong> <strong>50+ animals)</strong>
</div>
<div>Housing for cows, goats, sheep, and other farm animals rescued from neglect or mistreatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Wildlife Enclosure (Capacity</strong> <strong>50+ animals)</strong>
</div>
<div>A specially designed area for wild animals that are under treatment due to injury or any other medical condition.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hospital &amp; Medical Center
</div>
<div>A vital part of the sanctuary, providing:
</div>
<div>– Emergency treatment for injured and rescued animals
</div>
<div>– Surgeries and post-operative care for critical cases
</div>
<div>– Diagnostic testing to detect diseases, infections, and injuries

<div><strong> Sponsor a Sanctuary Space for an Animal</strong>
</div>
<div>By sponsoring a sanctuary space, you’ll provide lifelong shelter, care, love, food, and medical treatment for a rescued animal—at any given time, forever. Your support ensures that no matter what, an animal in need will always have a safe place to call home.
