Sheila Medlin

Sheila's aunt has spent her entire life helping family and friends, always putting others before herself. She was the main caregiver for my grams until she entered Heaven's Gate. Now, she is facing a difficult journey herself, as she undergoes lung cancer treatment, which requires her to travel 45 minutes each way to Cincinnati for her appointments. Recently, her vehicle began making terrible noises, and after a family member inspected it, they discovered the entire underside frame was severely crumbling rusted and unsafe to drive. The car can no longer be used, leaving her without reliable transportation to get to her vital cancer treatments. Living on a fixed income through Social Security, Sheila's aunt is able to cover her basic expenses, but emergencies like replacing a vehicle are simply impossible. After much convincing, she agreed to let her family create this GoFundMe, even though asking for help is something she’s never been comfortable with—she has always been the one helping everyone else. The goal is to raise enough to purchase a safe, dependable used vehicle so she can get to her treatments and appointments safely. If you are able to donate, it would mean more than words can express.
