My dad was a truly hipp person in his own hip way, he would help anyone out if he had it. Sometimes he would get on a roll and start busting out the guitar, or he would pop up in the circle with a blast of a harmonica or an antler to pass along. If you had tobacco, he would have a paper. He made sure to call out anyone who had an issue with him, but don't forget about that $20 and a frappe. And if you brought him milk, you'd make his day. For sure. Jeff Martin Fleming was born 6/17/63 to Lynne Wallace and Glenn Fleming. After losing his mom early in life, and his dad not being the best dad a boy could need at the time, Jeff was raised by his Grandpa Jack and Grandma Maxine. (Wallace/jensen) Jeff's great grandparents (Jensen )came to America from Norway. Equipped with his trusty pup Maya, there's nothing my old man couldn't diagnose on a car. One time, he told me I needed bearings....and he just listened over the phone and was right on the money. But then there's some days where all you will see is him catching a nap in front of the tv, sometimes the only way to pass the gray. If you were privileged enough to know him, then you were hip. But not as hip as him. Please help during this difficult time. I want him to finally rest easy. He was known for his antler pipe, his cat hat, and his sunglasses—little things that made him stand out and brought a smile to those around him. My best friend is now resting, and losing him has been incredibly hard. I want to honor his memory in a way that reflects how Hip he truly was with a wake and "HipFest" I am raising funds to help cover his cremation expenses, and to host "HipFest" where friends and family can come together to remember him. These costs have created a financial strain for our family, and any support would help ease that stress during this difficult time. If you are able to contribute, no matter the amount, it would mean so much to me and my family. Thank you for considering helping us give my dad the farewell he deserves and for supporting us as we navigate this loss.
