Raising $4,000 by June 4, 2026 to help cover urgent financial needs and keep moving forward. Every donation and share helps.
I am facing a difficult situation with my San Diego Gas and Electric bill, which is due soon. I recently received a final notice of disconnection if the bill is not paid by June 4, 2026. This urgent need has created a lot of stress, and I am reaching out for help to avoid losing my utilities and incurring additional fees.
The funds raised will help keep my utilities on, prevent a reconnection fee and other charges, and provide relief during a time of hardship. This support will allow me to focus on my education and work, rather than worrying about basic necessities. I know God has my back, and I believe it's okay to ask for help in times of great need.
I am a full-time student at San Diego State University, working toward my bachelor's in psychology and my master's in social work to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have two more years left in my education. I also run a furniture delivery business, but my truck was at the dealership for two months for major repairs, which caused me to lose work and made my finances very unstable. This situation affected my mortgage, and I was unable to pay from March through May 2026. Thankfully, my mortgage company is helping by moving payments to the end of the loan, but my first payment is due soon. I've been driving Uber to try to subsidize my income and catch up on bills. Not having electricity would cause many additional problems at home.
Every little bit helps, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for anything you can help with at this time. It's not easy to ask for help, but when my back is against the wall, I have to humble myself and realize I can't do everything on my own.
