Hi everyone! My name is Sebastian Stodel, and I’m a weightlifter who is incredibly honored to have been invited to compete at the Junior Pan American Championships in Tepic, Mexico, this October as a member of Team USA. Being given the opportunity to represent my country on an international stage is something I’m extremely grateful for, and I’m excited to have such an important goal to work toward. However, my coach and I are responsible for covering the costs of attending the competition, including flights, transportation, hotel accommodations, athlete and coach entry fees, and other travel expenses. In total, we are looking to raise approximately $3,000. Weightlifting has been a huge part of my life, and over the past year, I’ve been fortunate to see a lot of the hard work pay off. I had the opportunity to compete at Youth Pan Ams last year, set and break Youth American Records, qualify for the National Team Program (NTP), and now take the next step in my career by competing at the Junior level. Competing at Junior Pan Ams would be a major stepping stone in my weightlifting career and an incredible opportunity to continue growing and representing Team USA.
