<div>Hi, my name is Mia Moon and I am assisting in raising money for my dear friend and his family (Himdan Family) with surviving in their current conditions in Gaza. He and I have been speaking every single day since late October, he sends me photos and videos on a daily basis of him, his family, and their living conditions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Himdan family is originally from Khan Yunis, but have been displaced to the southern most city in the Gaza Strip, Rafah, where over 1.6 million Palestinians have been also displaced. 70% of the population in Gaza is starving due to Israels blockade of aid, and when aid does arrive, the IOF opens fire on Palestinians. 10 children are undergoing amputations a day, without anesthetic. The IOF is targeting hospitals filled with displaced people seeking refuge, assaulting women in front of her family members, and executing medical staff. These are all war crimes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All members of his family (parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, siblings and children) are all currently sleeping in one single tent and eating roughly one small meal a day, inshallah. Their access to food, clean water, shelter, medicine, internet and more, are all extremely scarce and expensive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donation would aid the Himdan family to afford food, water, diapers, e-sim packages, as well as a tent or two for better, less crowded sleeping/living conditions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Cost of living examples:
</div>
<ul>
<li>A plate of rice and meat: $95
</li>
<li>Pack of diapers: $60
</li>
<li>1 tent: $700
</li>
<li>10 gb of data: $33
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please consider financially contributing to the wellbeing of this beloved family. Every human being deserves the basic necessities to sustain life, bare minimum. Please remember the lives at risk are real, precious lives; they are people just like you and I, with interests, dislikes, hopes and dreams. Geographic birthplace/location does not and should not determine a humans worthiness to exist with dignity on this Earth.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For fellow Americans, our professed beliefs in freedom as a country, or love and protection for all under the name of God, should extend to ALL human beings on this planet.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A contribution of any amount would be deeply appreciated. I will be transferring the money to my account, then to his account in Gaza.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>UPDATE: Per my friends request, we are raising the fundraiser goal to $25,000. This will help stabilize their finances to afford the necessities of survival for the foreseeable future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As-salamu alaikum (peace be upon you)

Help Gazan Family, Himdan - Basic Needs Assistance

<div>I hope this message finds you well and warm,
</div>
<div>My name is Thaer Inshasi, I am a radiologist. I am palestinian who currently lives in Gaza strip, the depth of the war.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters, one of them is married with a 2-year-old girl child named Rahaf.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My little brother is a freshman student in medical school here in Gaza, he has a huge hope of becoming a great doctor.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since the beginning of this war 183 days ago, we have been living in fear, struggle, humiliation, and starvation.
</div>
<div>We are living under constant bombardments, airstrikes all the time, and people are killed everywhere. We have been running from shelter to shelter, nowhere is safe. The occupier army has threatened our neighborhood so we left our house and now the ten of us are living in a tent in Rafah with no electricity, gas, or human toilet.
</div>
<div>We lack clean water, and food is considered a luxury if you find some.
</div>
<div>My little nephew cannot have her milk and her daily needs for nutritional support, we are living in fear all the time, and we are waiting for our death every moment.
</div>
<div>I can't explain to you how awful is the tank’s bombs and the clashes, they are very close to us, Gaza is a very small place, nowhere to run.
</div>
<div>My kittle brother Bashar has lost his dream in becoming a doctor after destroying his university, and I am very concerned about my nephew.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am reaching out for asylum in Belgium for me and my family. For the family to get out of Gaza we need to pay 40,000$ to reach Egypt and another 40,000$ to reach Belgium and sign for the asylum, you can ask me about the money and how they will be spent exactly and I will be more tgan happy to answer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Giovanna Franco is the trusted beneficiary of my fundraiser. As she meets the transfer requirements, Giovanna will receive the funds on my behalf and transfer them to me outside of gofundme.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am reaching out to you with humility and a deep sense of gratitude, hopeful that your compassion will serve as a beacon of light in our darkest hours. Please consider making a donation to my family and my beautiful nephew who is so yellow now as it could mean the difference between despair and a glimmer of hope for my family in Gaza.

Help me and my family to escape from Gaza war!

Together for Life Gaza is a group of Palestinians in Gaza working tirelessly to bring much needed food and aid to the north region of Gaza. Despite the worsening situation, restrictions on aid trucks, and increased difficulty in sourcing ingredients, our team has been able to consistently source, prepare, and distribute hot meals, food parcels, baby needs (like diapers and milk formula), feminine hygiene products (like sanitary pads and prenatal care items), and other direly needed forms of aid.

Our fundraising campaign aims to provide essential support to families in Gaza who are enduring the harsh realities of war. The men, women, and children of Gaza are facing harsh and worsening living conditions each day.

Together for Life Gaza has partnered with Project Watermelon to assist in bringing more aid and basic necessities to the north, where Palestinians are being starved and denied basic human decency every single day.

Your contribution and sharing of this campaign link directly impacts our ability to fund more food, baby needs, and other aid projects in the north of Gaza. The north area desperately needs help, so please donate and share this campaign link today.

You can follow along with our aid distribution on Instagram by following ua at @together_for_life_gaza
We also partner with Project Watermelon, you can follow them for monthly updates on our aid projects at @projectwater.melon

Together for Life Prenatal care for North Gaza

The War in Sudan has created the World’s largest Humanitarian crisis. According to the World Food Programme 19 million people are facing extreme levels of hunger and very little international humanitarian aid is reaching the country.<br /><br />In Response to this tragic situation in our native country, we have setup the Khartoum Aid Kitchen initiative to feed the hungry in the greater Khartoum area. <br /><br />Our first Kitchen in Al Hitana Omdurman has been a success. Alleviating hunger in the area by feeding 1,250 of the most needy people daily. The fortified stew we provide with bread is not only intended to provide sustenance but to also be nutritionally balanced. <br /><br />Since our kitchen in Al Hitana opened we have proceeded to rapidly setup new kitchens across the Khartoum State area. With the hope of being able to feed as many hungry people as possible. <br /><br />We currently directly run 12 fully fledged Kitchens as well as 5 partner kitchens which we support by covering their rice needs.<br /><br /><b><i>Directly run kitchens:</i></b><br />

Fight Hunger in Sudan: The Khartoum Kitchen appeal

<div>Dear compassionate donors,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dana, Mahmoud, and their 5 year old daughter Hayat <strong>urgently</strong> require your support after escaping the genocide in Gaza.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here is a breakdown of the costs:
</div>
<div>Dana needs <strong>$1800 every week </strong>for Peginterferon dose to treat blood cancer. Without the treatment, she always has symptoms of blood clots:
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/79521429_1725896330287429_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dana's 5 year old daughter Hayat’s needs <strong>$1000 a month</strong> because she has celiac disease and cannot eat gluten. She also needs treatment for her speech impediment and PTSD that was caused by surviving the genocide. Without this treatment, she resorts to self-harm to communicate her needs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dana's husband Mahmoud needs <strong>$6000 once a year and $500 monthly </strong>for installing a pump to treat his diabetes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To solve this problem, the family is trying to raise<strong> $50,000 for Mahmoud's beta cell transplantation.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The whole family also needs <strong>$300</strong> for vitamins and medications <strong>monthly.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On top of the medical conditions outlined above:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Each evacuation costs <strong>$5000.</strong> Dana will therefore need money to evacuate <strong>her father, 2 brothers and her aunt.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dana had to borrow<strong> $5,000 </strong>from her family in Gaza to evacuate her husband. The money has now been given back thanks to your generosity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The financial burden of medical treatment, especially the beta cell transplantation in the United States, is overwhelming for the family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Therefore, we are appealing to your generosity and compassion to contribute towards covering the costs of their medical expenses and providing them with the necessary support during these challenging times.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We understand that the estimated costs for such medical procedures can be substantial, including the beta cell transplantation. <strong>Therefore, any contribution you can make, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in alleviating the suffering of this family and providing them with hope for a better future.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are more than willing to provide any additional information or clarification regarding the family's situation and the donation process.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your support will make a meaningful impact on the lives of this Palestinian family from Gaza.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>With heartfelt gratitude,</em>
</div>
<div>Dana and the fundraising team

Help Dana and her family get urgent medical treatment!

<div>((Luckily an organisation in Sudan is now sponsoring Maab's treatment, that's why we stopped the donation for Maab, but we will never stop our impactful journey, Our next goal is to help a Sudanese woman(Omiama). BELOW IS THE FULL STORY ))
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am writing this on behalf of my aunt Omiama, who suffers from a rare hereditary form of eye disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa, which destroys her retina and causes her seeing difficulties, now she is completely night blind and can barely see at daytime, her visual field is deteriorating and narrowing by the day, and currently she can only see objects in the center of her vision (tunnel vision)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>she has this disease since childhood, but in the past few years her eyesight has worsened and this is led her to quit her beloved job as a math teacher, and even more so, quit her social life to avoid embarrassment
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>seeing her like this has always worried and hurt us, so we searched non stop for a treatment to her condition, until we recently found a clinic in Germany called restore vision clinic that treated similar cases by using electrical therapy, so we immediately contacted them and they assured us that there is a possibility to improve her vision to the point where she can become independent
</div>
<div>I can’t describe the optimism and the joy she felt when heard these words
</div>
<div>we got an appointment with the clinic (form 28.11.2022 till 08.12.2022) and we managed to pay the deposit (980 EUR )
</div>
<div>But then shortly after that a war broke out in Sudan (our country )and unfortunately it is still ongoing and as a result the travel cost double 10 times and we have been greatly affected by the financial hardships of the war.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>now we sadly find ourselves unable to afford the cost of her treatment journey; which’s details as follows;
</div>
<div>€4000 to the Round trip flights ( for two persons as she can’t travel alone )
</div>
<div>€5520,00 the remaining amount of treatment sessions
</div>
<div>Making the total amount we wish to raise is about €9,500 .
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>and this devastates her as she has been counting the hours to the moment when she will finally be able to see life in its colors and say goodbye to the darkness she has lived with for so long.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>your donation will make a change and bring back hope to her and us,
</div>
<div>We really need and appreciate your help as with each day that passes without her starting the treatment, her chance of regaining her sight dwindle.
</div>

Please help her.

<div>Hi compassionate souls,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Saga Hamdan, a postgraduate dental student at the University of Dundee, Scotland. I have left Gaza in September 2023 to pursue my masters studies. Few weeks later, my life has changed forever. Since the onset of the war in Gaza in October 2023, I have been going through the darkest moments of my life, I have lost many friends and colleagues, and my family house was bombed and fully destroyed. This was the house I grew up within, the house of my childhood, the house of my adulthood, with a lot of memories and happy occasions, all killed. As a result, my family was forced to flee to the middle area of the Gaza Strip where they are sharing one apartment with 40 other people of my relatives, served by only one bathroom. I will leave to your imagination, how they have to queue everyday to just do the most basic need ever. I am needless to say that they have been facing the most difficult conditions ever. They do not have access to electricity, enough food, and clean water. Not to mention the daily horror they have been witnessing for the last six months. My family, have been waiting for this genocidal war to finish so that they could restart their lives from literally nothing. However, this war does not seem to come to an end. Therefore, I have decided to take a step that I hesitated for a long time but it is now my only beacon of hope to help save the lives of my family members.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am now on a mission to help evacuate my family from Gaza to Egypt. This sadly comes at a cost that I cannot afford, I am just a student. Therefore, I am launching this fundraising campaign to save my family.
</div>
<div><br />

<div>And then there's Joury (8), a bright spark of joy in the midst of despair, whose talents and sweetness have endeared her to all who know her in both school and anywhere she participates in.

<div>Our once-stable existence now lies in ruins, our dreams reduced to dust. With each passing day, the walls of our makeshift shelter close in around us, suffocating us with their reminders of everything we've lost.
</div>
<div>But amidst the darkness, a glimmer of hope remains. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to our goal of $33,000 – the amount needed to cross the Rafah border and embark on a journey towards a new beginning. Donate today and become a part of our story of survival, as we reclaim our dreams and rebuild our future from the ashes of war.

Help Evacuate My Family from War-torn Gaza

<div>My family is in danger. They are trapped in a city in Sudan called Madani. They fled there because my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer and the only chemo treatment she could receive was there. Due to a militia that is increasingly taking over the country and bombing hospitals, all of the disabled, sick and elderly had to flea to Madani to get medical treatment. Hundreds of thousands of Sudanese people fled out of Madani earlier this week after the militia overtook the Sudanese military. My family was unable to flee because my grandmother is elderly and sick.
</div>
<div>As of yesterday, my grandmother, disabled aunt, aunt who is sick with Malaria and my two teenage girl cousins were trapped at the top of an apartment building that has been overtaken by militia. They are helpless.
</div>
<div>My aunts are sick and they have been injured. My two cousins are just children. Please help my family in one of two ways: donate to the GoFundMe I have set up in order to pay for an ambulance to take them to Port Sudan where they can then flee out of the Country.
</div>
<div>If you know any immigration attorneys with the capacity to handle a Sudanese refugee case, please let me know.

My Family Flee from Sudan

<font color="#333333">So, I found a lump Feb. 9th in my left breast. March 7th, results from my biopsy confirmed that it was cancerous. March 8th I met with my breast surgeon who explained what a triple negative breast cancer means and why it is particularly aggressive. <br /><br />My specific breast cancer is Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. I’ll need 6months of chemotherapy and subsequently, a mastectomy to remove my left breast. This fund is to support my monthly expenses such as rent, utilities, food and pet expenses while undergoing chemo &amp; I am unable to work. <br /><br />My employer’s already advised me that I wouldn’t qualify for short term disability though as “cancer” is considered a preexisting condition and I was told my diagnosis prior to enrollment into our benefit program which doesn’t begin till March, 18th. I am also only eligible for 2months of unpaid personal leave so my job itself is in limbo as well as I navigate next steps.<br /><br />I’m still seeking support through other methods such as local organizations but all things take time &amp; with my case, urgency is needed. <br /><br />A portion of this fund is allotted for the recovery period of the mastectomy. I am currently awaiting genetic marker testing. If positive for certain markers, it would indicate a high likelihood of cancer returning in my right breast, most likely meaning a double mastectomy. <br /><br />After speaking with my oncologist, I’ll know far more and will update/adjust to reflect that information then.<br /><br />I’m still in shock. Please share. Please consider clearing my fund.<br /><br />I’m still also heavily involved with raising recovery and surgery funds for my mother Jude. Please consider assisting us both as this is a particularly difficult time for our family all around. </font>

Stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer Support

<div>Once upon a December
</div>
<div>Spoiler alert: My family’s story doesn't unfold with a charming and happy beginning. Nevertheless, readers and compassionate hearts, I leave it in your hands to determine whether the final chapter of the story concludes with the kind of closure that whispers "happily ever after."
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/77619487_1705424952826175_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As December 2023 approached, I couldn't help but hope that it would mark the end of the unfathomable chapter of the ongoing genocide in Gaza. In my mind, December had always been a month of closure, a time when the world collectively turned the page on sadness. Little did I know that in this particular story, the script would unfold differently. “Differently” as in “I lost my house, the only left memory from my dad, and my brother got sniped by an Israeli sniper in his leg while he was heading towards what remained of our bombed home, searching for flour or food if he was fortunate.”
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/77619487_1705425011558766_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is Malak Zakout talking to you from a safe place, a blessing my family in Gaza hasn’t had the privilege to experience in the past 101 days. I am reaching out to you to help my family leave Gaza and make it to Egypt. I just want to make sure my family enjoys the most basic human right ever, THE RIGHT TO LIFE!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>About my family:
</div>
<div>We once were a radiant family of six, filled with love and warmth. Tragically, due to the denial of a permit by Israel for my dad to receive treatment in the West Bank in 2018, we lost him to cancer. Gaza not only mourns the passing of a beloved father but also grieves the absence of a dedicated doctor who could have made a difference during this heartbreaking period of aggression. And as much as I hate number 5, we became a family of five – comprising my wonderfully loving mother, three brothers, and myself. Subsequently, our tight-knit family of five faced another change when I was fortunate enough to secure a scholarship to pursue my Master's degree abroad. So, it’s just my mom and my three brothers now.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/77619487_1705425044945568_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My mother, a dedicated housewife and nurturing parent, has lovingly cared for our family. My elder brother has recently earned his degree in engineering from Al-Azhar University of Gaza, while my second brother should currently be in his third year pursuing pharmacy. Unfortunately, my youngest brother, a bright soul who excelled in high school, hasn't had the opportunity to immerse himself in university life. The Israeli aggression began in the initial weeks of his academic journey, where he enrolled in management studies.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/77619487_170542506916487_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have consistently led a decent and dignified life, always extending care to those in need. My father, in particular, was always providing free medical assistance to patients, even when they would appear on our doorstep late at night seeking prescriptions. Putting my family's story into words to seek donations for their exit from Gaza is a profoundly painful endeavor and it absolutely hurts every fiber of my being. This circumstance wouldn't be our reality if it weren't for Egypt imposing an exorbitant fee, which has now become around $10,000 to $11,000 per person, to leave Gaza. Trust me, as Gazans, the thought of permanently leaving our home is unimaginable, and under normal circumstances, we would never contemplate such a departure. Hopefully my family makes it to Egypt and as soon as the situation gets better, they manage to get back and rebuild the house once again. It’s worth mentioning that this fund-raising campaign is only to secure my family’s departure to Egypt.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It's very important that you know I've entrusted Jacqueline Williams, a dear friend of mine with organizing the GoFundMe campaign for my family, as the country I am currently in is not supported by GoFundMe. Once we reach our fundraising goal, she will facilitate the secure transfer of the funds to my account.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Expenses cutdown:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Egypt fees: $10,000 to $11,000 per person * 4 members = $40k to $44k
</div>
<div>Add to that the 2.9% (plus an additional $0.30 per donation) GoFundMe would take and the fees on money transfer the bank would take. If any extra money, it is going to be used for visas and renuing documents and for the stay in Egypt.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The overall sum amounts to approximately $50,000. Considering the bank my friend is engaged with operates in British currency, the amount in pounds would be approximately 40,000.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you made it to here already
</div>
<div>Thank you for choosing to be a ray of hope in our lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With gratitude,
</div>

EMERGENCY: HELP EVACUATE MY FAMILY FROM GAZA

<div>Hello
</div>
<div>my name is Fardowsa and I am raising funds on behalf of my dear friend shayma and her family who have been bravely dealing with a situation none of us will ever be able to bear in our lifetime. Please take a minute to read her story and be kind enough to help in anyway you can.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>UPDATE
</div>
<div>Shayma and her 16-person family have successfully been able to flee the war in Gaza and are now hoping to build their lives in Egypt with your help InshaAllah.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here’s what your donation can help them with:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As they escaped war with barely anything, they need money to cover up basic life necessities such as rent, clothes, food and the likes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As they are a big family, they can’t stay in one apartment, so the married siblings with their little families will rent their own places, till the family is able to purchase one big house able to contain them all.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>5 persons need to resume/start their university education, and education in Egypt is expensive for expats. For example, Rawaa, the sibling who was in Egypt before the war, has to pay $3k per semester. The kids (3) will also need to enter kindergartens and schools.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When they got bombed, two of her sisters got wounded. One of them needs urgent medical follow up attention. The mom suffers from varicose veins and wishes to seek medical help as well. Additionally, Shayma’s two sisters-in-law are expecting.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Of course, the family can’t rely on donations forever. They’re planning to set up a small business, but they need your help with that as well.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As mentioned on Shayma’s Twitter account, she has family members in Gaza who rely on the money she sends them. Your donations will go to Gazans in Gaza as well.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are also hoping to collect funds that are sufficient for rebuilding their house back in Gaza after the war ends InshaAllah.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation matters! Thank you greatly in advance.
</div>

Help a war-inflicted Gazan family rebuild their life

<div><strong>Join us in providing financial support to those facing unfathomable grief due to the Israeli siege on Gaza.</strong> Palestinian members of our community are currently processing the deaths of countless family members overseas. The Palestinian community at Columbia is overwhelmingly first generation and low income, and several members are struggling to continue to work jobs while dealing with unimaginable grief. We have received requests for aid in paying rent, groceries, and other bills during this challenging time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In addition to this, visibly Muslim and Arab community members are disproportionately dealing with harassment, death threats, and doxxing and have requested aid to navigate legal support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Students are tirelessly working, organizing, and mobilizing to keep the movement alive at Columbia and across New York City often at the expense of their well-being. Join us in providing them financial support as they continue to work jobs, attend school, and care for themselves amidst this crisis.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The health and safety of Palestinian students and organizers is reliant on your support. We are so thankful for all of your help so far!
