Help Baby Ezra Keep His Mom by His Side Baby Ezra was born in the United States and is a U.S. citizen. Like every child, he deserves the chance to grow up with the love, care, and stability of his mother. His mom, Alejandra, is only 16 years old. She did not choose to come to the United States. When she was just 9 years old, she was brought to the U.S. and left with immigration officials after being abandoned by the adults responsible for her. As a young child, she had no voice in that decision and no control over the path her life would take. Despite experiencing abandonment and hardship at such a young age, Alejandra has shown incredible strength and resilience. Today, her greatest priority is caring for her baby, Ezra, and giving him the loving, stable life every child deserves. The legal process to remain in the United States is complex and expensive. The costs of immigration filing fees, obtaining the necessary documents, and legal assistance are simply beyond what a 16-year-old mother can afford on her own. We are raising funds to help cover these legal and immigration-related expenses so Alejandra can pursue every available legal option to remain with her son. Baby Ezra has known no home other than the United States, and his mother wants nothing more than the opportunity to raise him, provide for him, and watch him grow.
