<div> Greater Manchester  who were experiencing food poverty during the festive period, by providing essential food hampers.

<div>Since then, with the support and generosity of the public, we have created and delivered over 3200 food hampers to children and their families during the Christmas holidays.

</div>

<div>Once again, with your valued support, we aim to raise a staggering £16,000,

</div>

<div> so we can help over 1100 families this Christmas.

</div>

<div>Last year, we were once again inundated with requests from schools on behalf of some of their students who were in dire need of help.  So this year, we aim to help even more families across the borough, by increasing the fundraising total to fulfil the aim of creating over 1100 essential food hampers.

 Hello, Julie Hesmondhalgh here from Friends of the Coliseum in Oldham. As we launch our exciting new production of Macbeth in Liquid and Envy nightclub, we are hoping to enable audience members who can’t afford a ticket to come along. A concessionary ticket is £15 but we are hoping to be able to provide a number of free and pay-what-you-can tickets per performance via community groups within the town. So if you can “bring someone with you” virtually by donating £15- or even throw a couple of quid in, it would be hugely appreciated. Thank you. X

 We never imagined we would ever have to ask for help like this, but our beautiful Teddy is fighting for his life and we are absolutely desperate to give him every chance we possibly can.
</div>

 Teddy is due to celebrate his 1st birthday this Saturday. He is literally still our little baby, and instead of getting ready to celebrate his first birthday with him, we are desperately hoping and praying that he makes it through this.
</div>

 Teddy is our gorgeous Cockapoo and he is so much more than a dog to us. He is our baby, our little shadow and such a huge part of our family. He brings so much love, happiness and laughter into our home. ❤️
</div>

 Over the past few weeks, Teddy has become desperately unwell with a severe and life-threatening blood disorder. Despite everything the vets have tried, his blood levels have continued to fall.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Today we received the devastating news that his PCV has dropped again to just 12%.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 His specialist vet has told us that his chances are very slim, but there is still one more thing we can try. Teddy is having another blood transfusion to give him one more chance to respond to treatment. ❤️
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We simply cannot give up on him while there is still a chance.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The financial side of this has now become something we never could have imagined either. Teddy’s current hospital bill is already around £7,500, and his additional blood transfusion is expected to cost approximately £2,000. We also have around £1,300 of bills with his own vets.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 This means his treatment is currently expected to cost around £10,800.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We have £4,000 of insurance cover, leaving us with a shortfall of approximately £6,800.
</div>

 We have never wanted to ask people for money, and honestly, setting this up feels incredibly difficult for us. But Teddy is our baby, and if raising this money gives him even the smallest chance of coming home to us, we have to try. ❤️
</div>

Secret Santa Food Hamper 2025

<div>Hello there, We are a community Interest Company (CIC) called Leahs Little Sunflowers who focus of helping families battling all different types of cancers.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Leahs Little Sunflowers CIC was created by Jenny Smith and Liam Smith in memory of Jenny's daughter and Liam's Sister Leah Smith, who sadly passed away from Ewing Sarcoma a rare type of bone cancer that usually affected young adults. Leah passed away on the 11th of March 2024.

<div>Leah documented her cancer journey on social media and gained over half a millions followers. We know leah would never want to be fogotten and that is why we are going to keep her name alive helping families with cancer and turning pain into purpose Our goal is to set up fundraiser days to raise funds of £60,000 to purchase an adapted caravan to give out to families with cancer a restbite holiday as this is something we would do with Leah when we were told bad news about her cancer. We know getting away can sometimes be the best type of therapy.
