 I never imagined I would have to write these words.

 On the afternoon of July 28th, Ant's Community Garage Seattle was the target of an arson attack. In just a matter of minutes, flames destroyed a space that took years of sacrifice, countless late nights, and the support of an incredible community to build—a space we built for the amazing people who believed in this dream from the very beginning.

 Thankfully, no one was hurt. For that, I am incredibly grateful.
</div>

 We can—and we will—rebuild. But we need your help.
</div>

 When we opened Ant's Community Garage, our mission was never simply to rent out garage bays. We wanted to create a place where people who couldn't afford traditional repair shops could learn to fix their own vehicles, where experienced mechanics could mentor first-time DIYers, and where complete strangers could become friends over a shared love of cars.

 We have always wanted the shop to be accessible to everyone, and we've intentionally kept our prices as affordable as possible. Our focus has never been maximizing profits - it's been serving our community. Every dollar we've earned has gone right back into improving the experience, expanding opportunities, and building something that people could truly call their own. The tradeoff is that we simply don't have the financial reserves needed to rebuild an entire shop from the ground up.

 Over the years, we've watched members save thousands of dollars by learning new skills. We've hosted classes, community events, car meets, and countless conversations that started with, "Can someone give me a hand?" and ended with lasting friendships.

 And Seattle wasn't just another location. It was home to an incredible community that chose to believe in our vision.
</div>
<div>

</div>
<div>
 The building has suffered catastrophic damage, and while we are working closely with investigators and our insurance company, the reality is that rebuilding will take time. There will be expenses insurance won't cover, and we'll be working hard to keep our team employed and bring this community space back to life as quickly as possible.
</div>

 Many of you have already reached out asking how you can help.

 The answer is simple: help us build it again.

Mrs. Roper Romp to Support Ant's Community Garage

<div>In January of 2023 our dear friend Ryan Murray, owner of Red Canyon Cafe was diagnosed with a fairly rare, but very aggressive small intestine cancer. He is unable to work and is receiving chemotherapy treatments. Ryan is "fighting the fight" right now. Please send him and his family good vibes and tons of love.

<div>Ryan has spent the last 16 years crafting our coffees, slinging our sandwiches and sending us on our way with a smile that lasted all day. Ryan always made you feel like you were his favorite customer. Not only does he keep this community caffeinated and fed, but he is also a loving husband and an even more loving dad.

<div>Now more than ever, Ryan, his beautiful wife Sarah and 3 handsome sons, Alec(17), Owen(16) and Issac(14) need our help. Alec is finishing his senior year of high school and will be attending Emberly Riddle Aeronautical University in Arizona for Aerospace Engineering. Owen is an A+ student, focusing on track and field, speech and debate and leadership skills. He has also earned a black belt in karate. Issac will be going into 9th grade loving everything having to do with Lore and Magic. Sarah has been a staple in our children's lives working at Red Hill Elementary and Gypsum Creek Elementary as the gifted and talented teacher. She is also a professional coach to her colleagues.

On Sunday May 31st 2020, at the young age of 16, my nephew Derrek Boswell passed away from a severe asthma attack followed by a seizure. His passing was very sudden &amp; unexpected. He leaves behind a big family who loves him dearly.
Our family is graciously asking for monetary donations of any amount to help aid in giving this young man the funeral he deserves.

Those of you who know the the Johnson clan know it has been a challenging year for this growing family. Recently Silas has been diagnosed with a benign brain tumor and has undergone surgery. The first leg of their journey has gone well, but has been very trying, and is not over. It is likely that the Johnson's will spend several weeks/months undergoing treatment in the future.
