Sandra Burger

Sandra is asking for help for her 82-year-old sister-in-law, who is facing a long and difficult recovery after a serious fall. She broke her femur in two places and cannot bear weight for another four months. Right now, she needs help with nearly everything, including basic daily tasks like getting to the restroom. She spent 10 days in the hospital and has already been in a rehabilitation center for 6 weeks, but now the nursing home is planning to move her to a respite facility next week. The new facility will cost at least $6,000 a month, and she simply does not have the means to cover that expense on her own. She is single, lives alone, and has no children, and Sandra's family is her only family in Ohio. This fundraiser is to help make sure Sandra's sister-in-law can get the care and support she needs while she heals. Every donation, no matter the size, will go toward the cost of the new facility and help ease the burden during this overwhelming time. Please consider helping if you are able.
