Help Sally Cone Fight Stage IV Rectal Cancer
Hello, my name is Sally Cone I am the wife of Randy Cone, and at just 39 years old, my life changed forever.
In February 2026, I received news that no one is ever prepared to hear: I was diagnosed with Stage IV rectal cancer.
One moment I was living my life as a wife, mother, friend, and active member of my church community, and the next I was facing one of the biggest battles of my life. While I am currently undergoing immunotherapy and preparing for my fourth treatment, the physical, emotional, and financial toll of cancer has been overwhelming for my family.
I am a devoted wife to my husband of 17 years and a proud mother to two amazing children, ages 14 and 12. My family is my entire world. They are the reason I get up every day and continue fighting, even on the days when fear and uncertainty try to take over.
Anyone who knows me knows that I love the simple things in life. I enjoy fishing, hiking, reading a good book, spending time with family and friends, serving in my church, and living my life for God. Our home is also filled with the love of our three dogs—Fiona, Bean, and Blue—who never leave my side and somehow always know when I need comfort the most.
I am a God-fearing woman, but I want to be honest: I am scared.
Cancer is something you never think will happen to you, especially at 39 years old. Even though I am receiving treatment and doing everything I can to stay hopeful, there are moments when the weight of this diagnosis feels overwhelming. The uncertainty of the future, the physical challenges of treatment, and the fear of what comes next are things I face every day.
Because of my diagnosis and treatment, I am currently unable to work. Losing my income has placed an enormous strain on our family. While my husband continues to work hard to support us, the financial burden of cancer is growing each month.
We are asking for help with:
• Mortgage payments
• Utility bills
• Medical expenses and co-pays
• Prescription medications
• Transportation to and from treatments
• Everyday household expenses while I am unable to work
As difficult as it is to ask for help, I know that we cannot walk this journey alone.
If you are able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean more to our family than words can express. Every contribution helps relieve some of the financial stress so I can focus my energy on what matters most—fighting cancer and spending precious time with my husband, children, family, and friends.
If you are unable to donate, I completely understand. I simply ask that you share this fundraiser and keep me and my family in your prayers.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Thank you for your kindness, your support, and your prayers. We are trusting God one day at a time and believing that even in the middle of this difficult season, He is still writing our story.
With love and gratitude,
Sally Cone
