Ryan Szot

My name is Ryan Szot, and I am taking on the Mission America 24-Mile challenge to honor the many lives touched by cancer. Every mile I walk or run will be dedicated to someone who has faced this disease, and to the urgent work of making early detection a routine part of cancer care. I am doing this because I believe in a future where fewer families have to endure the pain of delayed diagnoses and limited treatment options. Stand Up To Cancer funds cutting-edge research and collaborates to make early-stage detection standard practice so we can reduce cancer deaths and save lives. When I put one foot in front of the other, I am carrying the hope of patients, survivors, and loved ones who deserve better tools and faster answers. This challenge is my way of turning determination into action and spotlighting the scientists and clinicians working toward cures.
