Daveigh Chase, my girlfriend, has always been a light in my life. Many people know her as a talented childhood actor from 'Lilo & Stitch,' 'Spirited Away,' and 'Donnie Darko.' But behind the scenes, she’s faced more than her share of hardship. After a difficult childhood and a painful falling out with her family, Daveigh was bullied and struggled to find safety and happiness in downtown LA. When we met, I promised to protect her and give her the love and comfort she deserved. Together, we found moments of happiness and hope. Recently, everything changed. Daveigh was diagnosed with meningitis and several serious blood infections. Her condition has become critical, and the doctors have told me she may not have much time left. All she ever wanted was a place where we could live together, feel safe, and be happy. Now, more than ever, I want to give her that sense of home and peace in her final days. I understand we all go through things, but if you can help, I will be really grateful for anything. And if you can only give a prayer, I will take that too. The doctors told me the medicine isn't working, and that she is passing away. Despite everything, Daveigh wants to spend her remaining time with me, comfortable and together, rather than in a hospital. We had so many plans together, like visiting Redwood National Park, but now our focus is on making her last days as peaceful and happy as possible. The funds raised will help us get a place where we can be together and comfortable, giving her the chance to spend her time surrounded by love. I want to make sure she feels safe and cared for, and that we can create some beautiful memories together, even in these difficult circumstances. She wanted to show me the beauty of nature and share that experience with me. I finally made plans for us to go, but now, because she’s so sick, we can’t. Right now, Daveigh is in the hospital with meningitis and other blood infections. The doctors say she may not survive, and when she leaves the hospital, we have nowhere to go. My hope is to raise enough money to find a place where we can be together and make her comfortable during her last days. I want to give her a safe, loving home, filled with peace and care.
