On July 30th, everything changed for Charlotte when a hit and run driver struck in downtown Grand Rapids. The accident left Charlotte with a broken leg, requiring emergency surgery and a long road to recovery ahead. Charlotte and Joey, who live together on their own, have shown incredible strength and resilience as they face these challenges at such a young age. As Charlotte begins the healing process, reliable transportation has become absolutely essential. Over the next year, Charlotte will need to attend frequent doctors appointments and physical therapy sessions to regain mobility and independence. Without a vehicle, getting to these appointments is nearly impossible, and public transportation isn’t a safe or practical option given Charlotte’s injury. The funds raised will help Charlotte and Joey secure a dependable vehicle, cover insurance and plates, and provide for other necessities during this difficult time.
