<div>Words are hard to form right now yet I am going to write as many as I can, because there are not enough words to capture the essence of Amy Jordan Schwartz.
</div>

<div>As you likely know, Amy lost her incredible mother Patricia Jordan aka Nannie, this past Monday. Pat was the kindest, most generous and loving mother, friend, Nannie, sister and person you will ever meet. Pat was and will forever be Amy’s best friend. When Amy penned her touching tribute to her Mom, she didn’t know and we could all never imagine how strong that bond truly was.

<div>Amy used to joke about not being able to live without her Mom but that is the kind of thing we all say to be dramatic and show our undying love for a loved one. Sadly, in this story, her joke turned out to be a prophecy.

<div>I am truly heart-broken to share that only days after Pat’s passing, Amy has followed her mother into heaven.
</div>

<div>While mourning her mother earlier this week, Amy was spending time with her beloved dogs Patchy and Maggie, when she suffered a massive brain bleed. She was rushed to the hospital and despite the best efforts of the doctors and nurses, the damage to her brain…and I believe her love for Pat, was too much for even the strongest woman I have ever known to overcome. She passed peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, who are all still in shock.

<div>Our world is shattered yet we are slowly starting to pick up the pieces because that is what Pat and Amy would demand of us! They don’t want us feeling sorry for them or ourselves or being sad for too long. They want us to celebrate their lives and focus on the amazing ways they made our lives and this world a better place.

<div>In her final act of generosity, Amy is donating the gift of life by contributing her vital organs to others in need, adding yet another way her legacy of love and strength will live on in others forever.
</div>

<div>We are all holding up as well as possible…and don’t need anything at the moment.

<div>It may not be captured here but rest assured Amy’s “forever tan” was on point this year and her beautiful skin color will be the envy of everyone in heaven.

You changed my life in ways you may never know and gave me the two greatest gifts I could ever ask for in our amazing children. Your strength is what will keep them strong, getting through this hard time and navigating life without their rock. I will be the best parent I can, because that is what you deserve! Amy Schwartz Tribute Fund

<div>My name is Carolyn Laconto and I want to start a fund raiser for my dear friend Deb. I have worked with Deb over the past 25+ years as both a fellow dental hygienist and a server at Mack's Catering. I love her like a sister and know how hard she has dedicated her life to her work and daughter but always "just getting by" financially. She should be able to enjoy retirement at this point but instead is working 2 F/T jobs just to stay "afloat".

<div>Deb is currently in the hospital ICU right now fighting for her life.

Tanjim is no more. 

We are sorry to be bearers of sad news. A battle for an innocent life is over. Tanjim Siam who was shot in the head in a brazen robbery at a Roxbury Convenience Store on July 17th. After fighting with his own life for about a month and half Siam finally lost in the battle. With great sadness, we announce the loss of our own Tanjim Siam. Today at around 10am doctors announce him dead, inna……..rajiun.

As many of you know, he was a student who came to the USA to make his dream live. But a bullet shot destroyed everything. Please keep Tanjim Siam and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

After more than a month on life support, Tanjim Siam's family has made the extremely difficult decision to take him off of life support on Thursday. Doctors have advised the family it is the best thing to do for Siam, as his organs were failing.

For those of you who have been following Siam's story, we thank you for your support, and generosity.
The Boston Convenience Store Association launched this fundraiser for Siam's family. 
“Tanjim is a kind soul who came to this country to get an education and begin building his life,” said Humayun Morshed, secretary of the BCSA and a friend of Tanjim.

 “He is good to everybody, helpful and friendly. He moved to Boston alone, leaving his parents, and siblings behind, with a dream to get an education. But his dreams and hard work have now been shattered," said Morshed. 

Siam was only 25 years old. He moved to the Boston area only 4 months ago from Bangladesh. He worked as a store clerk when he was shot in the head during a brazen robbery at a Roxbury store. Tanjim who was an international student worked at M &amp; R Convenience store on Shawmut Avenue. The gunman wanted cash, and cigarettes. Siam complied with the orders, but the gunman shot him in the head, execution style.
Nearly every penny Siam made, he sent it back home to his family in Bangladesh so they could have a better life. Siam's family made it to the Boston area after help from Senators Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey. Governor Charlie Baker, and Mayor Marty Walsh continue to help and support the family during this difficult time.
