What they care about

After 4 surgeries, chemo, and kidney problems, I keep fighting. I hope to enjoy life, cherish my parents, and be Santa for children in Tokyo again.

Help Me Continue My Fight Against Cancer A little help can make a life-changing difference. I never imagined I would find myself in a position where I needed to ask others for help, but cancer has changed my life in ways I could never have anticipated. Over the past 12 months, I have undergone four surgeries in my fight against cancer. I have also endured multiple chemotherapy sessions, with more treatments ahead of me. Just as I continue to face the physical and emotional challenges of cancer, I am now dealing with another serious concern: my kidneys are not functioning properly, adding further uncertainty to an already difficult journey. Cancer treatment is exhausting, both physically and emotionally. Each surgery, each chemotherapy session, and each new medical concern brings another challenge to overcome. While I continue to do my best to face the days ahead with courage and hope, the financial burden of ongoing medical care has become increasingly difficult to manage. The expenses associated with surgeries, chemotherapy, doctor visits, medications, tests, and other necessary care continue to add up. With more treatment ahead and additional concerns about my health, I am asking for help to ease this financial burden so I can focus as much of my energy as possible on my treatment, recovery, and well-being. If you are able to donate, any amount would mean more to me than words can express. If donating is not possible, sharing my story with others or keeping me in your thoughts and prayers would also mean a great deal to me. I understand that everyone has their own challenges and responsibilities, and I am truly grateful for any kindness, encouragement, or support you can offer. This is not an easy request for me to make. I have always valued independence, but I am learning that sometimes accepting help from others is part of finding the strength to keep moving forward. My journey is not over. I still have treatments to face, difficult days to get through, and hope to hold on to. Your generosity would help relieve some of the financial stress surrounding this fight and allow me to concentrate on what matters most: my health and the time and opportunities that lie ahead. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading my story, for caring, and for standing beside me during this difficult chapter of my life. Every donation, every shared message, and every prayer is deeply appreciated. With sincere gratitude, Rick Thank you for helping me keep fighting.
