I had a stroke. That’s the truth. I’m not here for pity — I’m here to fight forward, and I need real help to do it. 
 
I lost almost everything I worked hard for: 
 
My home (sold just to cover lot rent) 
 
My possessions, generator, and digital devices 
 
My Ford Escape (wrecked while still under my name, leaving me with huge bills) 
 
And even my CDL — the career I paid out of pocket to earn 
 
Now I’m in rehab, living on borrowed time. I wheel myself down to the day room just to get a snack from a vending machine — and that $2 means more to me than my family ever understood. I gave them tens of thousands over the years. Now they guilt-trip me for change. The gaslight era is over. 
 
But I don’t hate them. My last request was simple: take care of yourselves. Because I’ve got to focus on surviving and rebuilding. 
 
I want to get back to work. Trucking was my career, my independence, my livelihood. Losing my CDL after my stroke cut deep — because I know what it costs to get it, and I fought for it despite Autism and every roadblock. But once I’m strong enough, I plan to get my rear back behind the wheel again. That’s my vow. 
 
Why I’m Asking for Help 

I’m facing medical recovery, bills I didn’t create, and a future that feels shaky without a safety net. I’ve set a goal of $10,000 to cover: 
 
Rehab and recovery expenses 
 
Survival costs after leaving the nursing home 
 
A path back toward regaining my CDL and working again 
 
I’m not laying down. I’m not playing victim. I’m asking because I need real support to keep pushing.
