<div>Grant from the GP1 Hydroplane Team here. Our good friend Scott Lambert has had a horrendous start to 2023 with thieves targeting his equipment trailer last night. He has had a lot of stuff stolen which is a real kick in the guts to him and of course to all of us that enjoy his live streaming. I'm hoping there is some financial support out there for him so he can get the basics replaced ASAP. Like the trooper he is, Scott is heading to Eppalock and will still provide a scaled-back live stream. In his own words "Never Give Up"

<div>For the second time in a year, the Newall Family have faced a devastating setback to life as they know it. Living on the river since birth, the Newall brothers have taken over "Newall's Caravan Park" after the passing of their parents. Giving everything they have to provide a place where 40+ families can escape their day-to-day life to relax with friends by the river for the weekend, the Newalls have been destroyed with these massive floods not once, but twice in 13 months.

<div>Anyone that knows Rob and Garry will know what caring, helpful, giving and all-around genuine good blokes they are. Rob was out in the floodwaters in a small boat, trying to save anything he could to help his site holders who had just finished rebuilding their holiday vans from the previous flood. <br />Rob and Garry are the backbones of our family. Yet, I have never heard or seen them this worried and stressed about the park's future in all my life.

<div>The flood in 2021 had a massive impact on them personally and financially, but they rebuilt and came out the other side with several weeks of hard work. But with the flood this year, in Rob's words, "this one has broken me".

<div>Coming back from the floods this time will take a lot. Any form of help will not only be incredible to this family, but will prove that there are people just like Rob and Garry and when someone is down and struggling, there will be support right there ready to help you rebuild again.<br />

Help Newall's rebuild their Legacy

<span style="color:rgb(127,127,127);">Hi everyone.<br />How very devastating it has been to watch the rise of the flood waters affect our friends and family of the speedboat community.<br />They still have so far to go once the flood waters recede.<br />Just in Windsor alone, the flood levels peaked at 12.74 metres!I just can’t fathom that amount of water, it’s crazy!<br />I know these floods have caused so much damage and devastation for a lot of people, but when it is people you know or you know of, you feel helpless being in another state and so far away.<br />Not all of us can be there to assist them with the clean up, but I want to do something to help them. <br />Please share this with your friends and family to help our friends that need us right now. Assisting our Speedboat Community

On Tuesday the 26th of February, Dale Ashton, Dad to Ruby (5 yrs), Hallie (3 yrs) and husband to Sarah, tragically passed away due to injuries sustained in a boating accident whilst qualifying for the World Ski Racing Championship in South Australia. <br /><br />Dale was an incredible friend to so many people. In the days since his passing, the outreach of support, the words &amp; memories being shared and the grief felt, are a testament to the remarkable person he was and the everlasting mark he will leave on our hearts. <br /><br />Dale absolutely adored his three girls and they have been his proudest achievements in life. He talked so adoringly of ‘my wife, Sarah’ and never missed being a part of, and celebrating, Ruby’s and Hallie’s achievements and milestones. From getting them up on their first ski’s, first days of daycare and school, holidays together and quality time at home. He was a family man and appreciated the time he was able to spend with his family and extended family, who he also considered great friends. <br /><br />Dale spent many years within the ski racing community. He took his responsibility looking out for other people’s children and families so seriously. He took pride in knowing that what he was doing was part of ensuring their safety when participating in ski racing. Now it’s our turn to help out his family. Every donation made to his girls will ensure his children’s and wife’s future financial needs are more secure and help the girls through such an incredibly difficult journey ahead. <br /><br />Please openly share this over social media, for every share is a potential donation that will be put towards supporting the girls. <br /><br />Dale’s family and friends would like to thank you in advance for any donations the girls may receive and thank you for your continued support.
