<div><br />
</div>
<div>After an abrupt and unexpected issue with her heart on June 9th, and almost three long weeks on life support in the hospital, Catherine “Cat” Frazier passed away on June 29th, 2026 in Oakland, California. She was 35 years old.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In those 35 years, she quietly collected many accomplishments, including graduating from Pratt Institute, leading social media teams, running her own hotline called "Ask Cat," and hosting her own show called "Memesplaining" on Super Deluxe where she brought her Tumblr @animatedtext to life. Over the course of more than a decade she continued to grow Animated Text by building social presences at @itsanimatedtext and Gifimages Text and by expanding into custom GIFs as well as branded merchandise and prints. She freelanced and consulted with major corporations like Verizon, Nike, Tumblr, and Google, ending her life as a full-time instructional writer at PG&amp;E. In addition to her role at PG&amp;E, Cat spent her final years running an organization focused on social activism and planning community events in the Bay area.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But it was her quick, unique wit and kind, wild heart that made her truly special. She was able to relate to anyone and everyone, making people feel included and inspiring people to accomplish hard things cause her idealism and bravery were contagious. Her creativity, sense of art and humor, as well as her gravitating personality enabled her to build community wherever she went, breaking down walls and crossing silos to bring people and ideas together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Catherine was a giver and carer. She gave her all to try to make communities better through dedication and passion and to give people inspiration and hope through laughter. She always tried, and often did, carry the weight of others on her back. Unfortunately in her final years, people around her took advantage of her vision, generous heart, and self-less efforts. Even after her death, everything she had is to the benefit of others, and her estate is not able to cover the celebrations of her life. Please support us in giving Catherine the home-going she deserves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We would like for Catherine to be inurned in a columbarium and be laid to rest in a peaceful and permanent place where loved ones and friends can visit. If you'd like to support us, please donate. All donations will go towards helping with funeral expenses, including the cost of the niche, inurnment, and memorial service.

Help Support: A Loving Farewell for Catherine "Cat" Frazier

<div>Want to join me in making a difference?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’ll be performing my Warrior act at “Striptease for Charities” at Daltons on 29th June in support of BRIGHTON AND HOVE LGBT SWITCHBOARD.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It’s so important that people have someone and somewhere to turn to when they need it most, and the LGBT Switchboard provides that for some of the most vulnerable people in our community.
</div>
<div>This act was created with that very message in mind; of fighting for each other, and supporting each other through the darkness. It will be a joy to perform it for this cause.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

<div>Hi, my name is Emma and I will be taking part an event in Dalton‘s in Brighton to raise money for the Endometriosis Foundation UK. I have chosen this charity specifically because I do suffer from endometriosis myself and I feel like any kind of funding towards this disease is always a good person in the right direction. I love to perform and I love to bring my chaos and creativity to the stage and I’m very excited to have been chosen for this specific event. Please feel free to donate any spare change any funds that you may have available towards this incredible cause.

<div> Help Us Fund a Summer of Nature, Connection, and Belonging for Neurodivergent Adults
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi friends, supporters, and nature lovers,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re One for All Forest School – a small, grassroots project creating something truly special: a safe, inclusive space for neurodivergent adults to connect with nature, with each other, and with themselves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After the success of last year’s summer sessions, we’re back for 2025 with even more to offer – and we’re asking for your help to make it happen. This summer, we’re hoping to run another series of forest school sessions specifically designed for neurodivergent adults – but we need your help to make it happen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why We Exist
</div>
<div>So many neurodivergent adults go through life feeling like they don’t quite fit. Opportunities for connection and community are rare, and adult services are few and far between – especially ones that aren’t medicalised or diagnostic in nature. That’s where we come in.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One for All Forest School is the only adult forest school in our area, and one of the very few safe, accessible spaces just for neurodivergent adults. We offer weekly sessions in peaceful woodland spaces where participants can:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> Slow down and connect with nature
</div>
<div> Share stories and tea around a fire
</div>
<div> Express themselves through creative, hands-on activities
</div>
<div> Build friendships and confidence in a non-judgemental setting
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why We Need Your Help
</div>
<div>Running sessions isn’t easy – we cover everything from insurance and site costs to firewood, tools, creative materials, and snacks. We do all we can to keep our costs low, but many of our participants face financial barriers and cannot afford to pay for sessions themselves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Last summer, we ran a magical 6-week block of evening sessions from 6–8 PM. Around the fire, in the quiet of the woods, participants found community, peace, joy, and a sense of belonging. This year, due to high interest and feedback from participants, we’re expanding!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> We’ll be running four 6-week blocks of sessions from June through August – every Wednesday (except July 16th).
</div>
<div> We’ve added an earlier time slot (3–5 PM) to support participants who find evening sessions difficult.
</div>
<div> Each block can support up to 12 participants, offering structure, connection, and creative learning in a calm, sensory-friendly setting.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’ve already had a lot of interest and sign-ups – but we’re currently struggling to cover our costs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That’s where you come in
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What Your Donation Supports
</div>
<div>We work hard to keep participant costs as low as possible – offering 6-week blocks at just £30, with concession rates at £15 and free places always available. We never want money to be a barrier to access.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But running forest school sessions isn’t free. Your donation helps us cover:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> Facilitator time – ensuring safe, supported, high-quality sessions
</div>
<div> Nature journals – created by us and gifted to each participant to support reflection and creativity
</div>
<div> Session materials – including firewood, tools, crafts, food, and sensory supports
</div>
<div> New this year: Skill badges! We’re introducing a fun, empowering way for participants to track and celebrate what they learn – from foraging and fire lighting to mental wellbeing and community connection.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What We Need
</div>
<div>To run all four blocks (supporting up to 48 individuals in total), we’re hoping to raise £3,000. This will fully cover all costs and materials, so we can continue offering our sessions affordably and accessibly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How You Can Help:
</div>
<div> £10 helps buy firewood and tea for a session
</div>
<div> £30 sponsors one full 6-week block for a participant
</div>
<div> £125 covers a session including facilitator, volunteer, materials, and site fees
</div>
<div> Any amount – big or small – helps us build a more inclusive, nature-connected community
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even if you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser with your networks makes a huge difference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One for All Forest School is more than a project.
</div>
<div>It’s a lifeline. A space to belong. A way for neurodivergent adults to reconnect with the land, with others, and with their own inner spark.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping us make summer 2025 our biggest, most inclusive season yet
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With gratitude,
</div>

<div><br />
</div>
<div>"I found myself feeling alone in my neuro-divergency and having no space to discover who I truly was, especially as an adult! One for All Forest School gives me the spaces and time to do self discovery, by creating a safe environment for everyone no matter their background. They've allowed me to connect with others, building my confidence around new people and gaining tips and tricks for daily life struggles. I find myself constantly in stitches from laughing or learning something new from someone sharing about their special interest. I've found a love for nature and learning new skills - skills I've hyperfixated on for years, wishing to learn! This is the first ever place where I've felt safe enough to show the full me, quirks and all, with no fear of being shamed - in fact, many of us absolutely love stimming together and laughing about the things that make us, us! I genuinely owe everything to this forest school and will never be able to repay them! They sparked a new passion for life in me, teaching me skills I'd get nowhere else and helping me love my whole self."

<div>Brianna was an outgoing, confident girl. She brought a lot of laughter to those who knew her. She was looking forward to taking her exams this year and beginning her journey into the adult world.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have set up this page to help the family at this truly devastating time. We need your support to help them with funeral costs (we want to make this pink and colourful to match her personality) and ask if you can spare anything no matter how small to try to relieve their stress and allow them to grieve their beautiful daughter.

<p><strong>Help Legendary Nichelle Nichols Recover from Tragic Elder Abuse Perpetrated by Gilbert Bell. Please join the Nichols Family and Me in supporting Nichelle.<br /> -Marian Nichols Smothers, Sister of Nichelle Nichols<br /></strong>Nichelle Nichols, the iconic African American actress, performer and space activistis best <br />known and loved as ‘Lt. Uhura’ on the original Star Trek television series. As the first black woman in a non-traditional role on TV, her beauty, intelligence, and moxie inspired millions of women, especially women of color, in their aspirations, education, and vision for the future.<br /><br />From the late 1970s Nichelle’s relations with NASA included recruiting many astronaut candidates for the Space Shuttle program. Many of her recruits were women or members of racial and ethnic minorities including Mae Jemison, Sally Ride, and Ronald McNair, just to name a few.<br /><br />I am Marian Smothers, her younger sister, and on behalf of Nichelle’s siblings - our<br />sister, Diane Robinson, older brother Samuel Nichols, and all our relations - we are seeking your support for our beloved Nichelle.<br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50266052_1596837538942829_r.jpeg" alt="50266052_1596837538942829_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br /><em>Sisters Marian Smothers &amp; Nichelle<br /><br />Please read the Lawsuit filed  against Gilbert Bell by my Nephew and Nichelle’s Son Kyle <br /><br /><a href="http://uhura.com/nts/gb_19STCV23804_cross_complaint.pdf" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://uhura.com/nts/gb_19STCV23804_cross_complaint.pdf</a></em><br /><strong><br />Elder Abuse is a Widespread Issue.</strong> <br /><br />According to the National Council on Aging, more than ten percent of those over 60 fall victim to elder abuse. Financial exploitation is one of the many ways in which seniors are taken advantage of by the people they trust. Sadly, many well-known celebrities, including Rosa Parks, Stan Lee, Mickey Rooney, and Casey Kasem reportedly suffered elder abuse in their later years. Unfortunately, this has also happened to Nichelle.<br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50266052_1596837480440963_r.jpeg" alt="50266052_1596837480440963_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br /><br /><strong>What Really Occurred?</strong><br /><br />Nichelle has always been very independent, living life on her own terms. She has<br />enjoyed a successful career in the public eye – acting on television and in films,<br />performing live, and making personal appearances at fan conventions.<br /><br />In 2010, she first encountered <strong>Gilbert Bell</strong>. He said he was a producer and that he was developing a feature film in which he hoped to have Nichelle co-star as well as be a 50-50 partner in the enterprise and its profits. Slowly, deliberately, and methodically, Bell insinuated himself into her life. He convinced her to allow him to move into the second house on her property adjacent to her residence as they worked on the project that never happened. Mr Bell lived in the house under a fraudulent lease essentially paying nothing while compelling Nichelle to pay all his utilities. This cost Nichelle over $500,000 in rent she could have made plus the utilities Bell paid out of her checking account.<br /><br />In 2013, Nichelle was in a very weakened state following a hospitalization. Knowing that her immediate family members mostly lived outside of California, Bell took advantage of the situation to obtain her signature on medical and general Powers of Attorney. Over time, as he continued to gain influence, fees from her many personal appearances, and even her pension and Social Security, began to disappear.<br /><br /><br />He later deeded her personal residence into his name, which was the final act that<br />triggered the Petition for Conservatorship eventually granted to her son, Kyle Johnson.<br /><br />At this point Nichelle was penniless and the Bank was floating $10,000 in bad checks. Bell had drained all of her money!!!<br /><br />We believe that Bell has taken financial advantage of Nichelle thru theft and other damages that exceed $1.5 Million.
</p>

<p><br /><strong>Her Only Child, Kyle Johnson, is Nichelle’s Conservator and Fulltime Caregiver.</strong><br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50266052_1596838324882676_r.jpeg" alt="50266052_1596838324882676_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br /><em>Son, Kyle, with Nichelle and George Takei</em><br /><br />In August of 2018, our nephew Kyle, who has lived with his wife in New Mexico since the 1990s, returned to Los Angeles to be Nichelle’s fulltime caregiver and subsequently, Conservator of her Person and Estate. But so much of the major damage had already been done.<br /><br />Since then, Gilbert Bell has done the only thing left for him to do – he has slandered Kyle’s good name in numerous publications. He recorded a staged encounter with him, Nichelle, and Kyle, releasing the video to media outlets and the LAPD, and filed suit demanding the continued fraudulent possession of her adjacent property under onerous terms.<br /><br /><strong>How Can <em>You</em> Help?</strong><br /><br />As a fan and admirer of Nichelle, we ask for your support by donating towards the<br />accumulated and ongoing legal fees to defend her and ensure the continuing<br />conservatorship by her son, Kyle. These funds are necessary for defending Nichelle from Gilbert Bell’s baseless but damaging suit, our counter-suit and associated expenses of discovery, trial, etc, and to recover all or some of what he has stolen and mitigate the damage he has inflicted upon her.
</p>

<p>We appeal to your generosity and appreciate your support in any amount. Please share this on your Facebook, Twitter, and other social media accounts. <div><strong>I am trying to raise enough money to buy a new lifesaving hovercraft for the RNLI, and I would like it to be called 'The Flying Farage.'</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I feel that this would be incredibly appropriate due to Mr Farage taking such an active interest in the RNLI's activities right now. If there is any money left over, we will purchase a pint of real English ale to smash against the front in the naming ceremony, and if there is loads of money left over we may even buy a second vessel and call it 'The Galloping Grimes' or 'The Hovering Hopkins.'

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>… or how about ‘The Rushing Ratcliffe?’ I’m pretty sure Sir Jim appreciates the concept of heading overseas in search of a better life.

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Please give generously.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Legal Note: All funds will be paid directly from GoFundMe to the RNLI - this is a 'fundraiser' and not a 'crowdfunder.' The final decision about whether or not to proceed with 'The Flying Farage' is entirely at their discretion.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As it stands (January 2026), all donations to ‘The Flying Farage’ are being ringfenced for running costs at RNLI stations around the South-East corner of England - this means that there’s always a very good chance that donations will go towards helping the very people that Farage and many other ruddy-faced gammons love screaming at in The Channel.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This arrangement was confirmed again recently by my RNLI contact. However, if they ever change their mind about how these funds are used, I’ll let you all know.

<div>Also, because some idiots are now confusing the RNLI with the RNIB, you can support their amazing work as well <a href="https://www.rnib.org.uk/get-involved/donate/help-families-like-joannas-with-a-regular-gift/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">RIGHT HERE</a>

Buy A New RNLI Hovercraft - The Flying Farage

<p>Hi everyone, my name is Christian (Chris) Laycock and I need your help to get life-saving treatment in Germany.
</p>

<p>For those that don't know me, I'm a loving dad of three amazing kids, brother, son, partner, and friend. Up until March 2021, I was a healthy guy who loved going to the gym, travelling the world, having fun with friends, and spending time with my family.
</p>

<p>Then my life was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with, not one but, TWO brain tumours! I've always had a dark sense of humour and try to be a positive person. That's why I've named my tumours Bill (the biggy) and Ted (the tiny) because they're taking us on an 'excellent' adventure...
</p>

<p><strong>I'm doing everything I can to kick cancer in the head (pun very much intended).</strong>
</p>

<p>Since my diagnosis, I've been doing everything I can to fight back and beat brain cancer. I'm currently undergoing Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy at the Christie Hospital, Manchester. These treatments won't cure me, but they hope to stabilise my condition. I am taking every vitamin going and I'm trying to keep my body as healthy and fit as possible so I can give the fight of my life!
</p>

<p>Not So Fun Facts About My Big Tumour:
</p>

<ul>
<li>I have a stage 4 Glioblastoma: Bill is inoperable and taking over the left-side of my brain. This affects the whole of the right-side of my body &amp; speech.
</li>

<li>Bill has an IDH Wild Type mutation: This means he's fast-growing and every day he makes my life that little bit harder.
</li>

<li>Bill is also MGMT unmethylated: Which basically means he's less responsive to treatment. Cheers Bill, you're a ray of sunshine, pal.
</li>

</ul>
<p><strong>Why I Need Your Help:</strong>
</p>

<p>I want to see my kids grow up and there's treatment available that can fight Bill but it's not cheap or nearby! There is a special clinic in Germany that my Oncologist in London has suggested. The clinic, IOZK, are specialists in Immuno-Oncological Therapy; Immunotherapy uses and strengthens your own immune system in the fight against cancer and sustainably activates it against new cancer cell growth.
</p>

<p><strong>How You Can Help:</strong>
</p>

<ul>
<li><strong>Donate if you can: </strong>Every pound gets me a little bit closer to getting this life-saving treatment - I can't thank you enough.
</li>

<li><strong>Share my story:</strong> Please help raise awareness of our campaign by sharing my story with your friends and online.
</li>

<li><strong>Do a fun fundraiser in my name: </strong>Please consider me for your next fundraising efforts! Especially if you want to do something fun, silly, or a bit 'out there' - I'd be honoured!
</li>

</ul>
<p>Together, I'm hoping we can send Bill &amp; Ted on a Bogus Journey!
</p>

<p>If I can raise enough funds, I'm hoping to go for my screening, primary tests, and assessment in September 2021. This would then mean I should be able to start my custom treatment in December. Your donations will go directly towards my treatment, associated costs and care. In the event of there being any surplus,  the funds will be donated to similar causes and brain tumour research charities. <br />The motto in our house is 'keep on, keeping on' and your kindness and generosity, no matter how big or small, will help me do just that. All help is so gratefully received.
</p>

<p><strong>THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!<br /><br />PS: Don't be alarmed if your donation doesn't appear on my page instantly, all donations are checked by GoFundMe first and then it will appear. THANK YOU.</strong>

Tumour Has It - Chris Needs Your Help!

<p>Hi, my name is Lauren, I am a 32 year old trans woman, and I am trying to fund the last part of my transition so I can finally move on with my life.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>Trans healthcare in the United States is a gauntlet of wait times, battling with insurance companies, trying to find a therapist and doctor who treats you like a person, etcetera. I am relatively lucky to have health insurance through my job that will cover at least some, but not all, transition related procedures remaining - there are some that fall into the gray zone of "cosmetic" surgery according to the insurance companies that get to decide what they do and do not cover.

<p>This is something of an arbitrary distinction to draw, and over time, pressure from transgender patients and employees has moved the bar on what is deemed medically necessary quite a bit - when I had facial feminization surgery several years ago, I paid out of pocket for a procedure that would be covered by my health plan today. The same is not true at present for what I would like to get done prior to bottom surgery.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>First and foremost, I am looking to get an abdominoplasty with feminizing body contouring. I store fat around my waist- as many cis women do also! - but in conjunction with my height and broad shouldered frame, it creates a midsection that is uncomfortably and disconcertingly masculine. Especially since loose skin is involved, there's realistically no amount of dieting and exercise that will correct this, and insurance covers none of it.
</p>

</p>
<p>Additionally, I need electrolysis before gender reassignment surgery. Some doctors require this step, some don't- mine does and I would want to do it anyway to reduce the risk of complications down the line. Either way, my insurance doesn't cover it nor does it cover the local anesthetic injections required by the clinician. For some reason they don't want you raw dogging an electrified needle against your junk.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>I am also estimating some cost of living expenses for recovery after surgery because the downtime for either procedure is significantly more than the sick time I have accrued at work. The likelihood of hidden expenses means that realistically I'm prepared to max out my credit cards even if I do hit my fundraising goal. But I'm sick of dealing with this and I'm sick of trying to scrimp by saving a few dollars per paycheck only to see my savings repeatedly wiped out by sudden living expenses. It's just not realistic that I can save for all of this on my own after many years of trying.
</p>

</p>
<p>I don't like asking for help, because there are always more vulnerable people than me who would benefit more, but enough friends encouraged me to try a gofundme that I will give it a shot. So if you like my tweets, if you like me as a person, or even if you think I will be less annoying online if I am a little more self actualized, any donations or shares are appreciated.

Lauren Wants To Be Done With Gender

It's bad news with Katie.  I hate typing the words. Stage 4. Cancer.<br /><a href="https://twitter.com/beesesteeses/status/1367798921259548678"><a href="https://twitter.com/beesesteeses/status/1367798921259548678" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://twitter.com/beesesteeses/status/1367798921259548678</a></a><br /><br />And anyway it's Rob from B3ta here and I think we could all quietly chip in to give her a few quid. Not for a specific reason but because we love her and a few quid could make this terrible time 1% easier for her and she can spend the money how the fuck she wants.<br /><br />Dig deep my B3tan friends and and please pass this around the great b3ta community.
