<div>Authorities have identified Aundre Matthews, 18, as the suspect in the alleged stabbing death of a fellow classmate who was a minor. The Goose Creek CISD Police Department is handling the investigation. While an arrest has been made, nothing can lessen the devastation or bring back the life that was lost.

<div>In the days following this tragedy, the community has circulated information that the suspect himself publicly shared online prior to the incident. These materials appear to reflect repeated and serious disciplinary issues during his time as a student, which he referenced openly on social media. Seeing these posts has only deepened the shock, grief, and unanswered questions surrounding this loss and has added to the emotional toll felt by the Meismer family and so many others.

Support for My Sister After her tragic loss of Nehemiah

<p>On Wednesday July 28,2021 my dad was involved in a very serious accident after suffering a medical emergency while driving home. He blacked out and crashed into a large tree causing total loss of his vehicle, broken ribs, broken right arm, broken hip/pelvis and bruising/ bleeding on the brain. He is not going to be able to do his day to day work and is going to need assistance with bills, taking care of medical needs and getting a new vehicle. He has a long road to recovery and has several children who still live at home that he is financially responsible for. Anything will help us get him taken care of as he now needs assistance with day to day functions and several items to assist with his current state . Thank you for any assistance helping us provide for him through this difficult time as we are not sure how long it will take him to recover.

Bryan’s fundraiser to help while recovering.

On December 7th, Elliana Raine Finney was diagnosed with a Wilms tumor and sent to Texas Children’s Hospital Houston. She spent her 4th birthday in the hospital on December 9th. The stage three Wilms tumor and one of Ellie’s kidneys was removed on December 17th. She was able to return home to her family on the 21st to celebrate Christmas. Her first chemo treatment was the 29th. It was the first of 28 weeks worth of treatment. Ellie is doing well and her family is believing for a full recovery. However, they need relief for the medical bills, lost wages, parking and other expenses that will be incurred during the weekly hospital visits due to chemo. Radiation treatments will require daily visits. Ellie is our warrior child and her own personal faith in Jesus Christ has been her source of strength. Her life is a testament to the goodness of God!
