<div>I never thought I’d be in a position where I would need to ask for help like this, but I am facing one of the hardest challenges of my life.

<div>As I transition out of the U.S. Navy here in Okinawa, I’m preparing to move back home to the United States. While this is a big step forward, it has also brought with it an unexpected and heartbreaking obstacle. <strong>My two cats, who are my family and my constant source of comfort, now need to come home with me.</strong>

<div>Unfortunately, American Airlines and other carriers have restrictions that prevent me from flying them myself. The only option left is to use a professional pet shipping service. <strong>The cost to safely transport them from Okinawa to Arizona is $5,500</strong>—an amount I simply cannot cover on my own while also navigating the financial challenges of separating from the military.

<div>These cats aren’t just pets; they’ve been with me through every high and low during my time overseas. They are my companions, my comfort, and my family. Leaving them behind is not an option—I owe it to them to bring them safely home, where we can start this next chapter of our lives together.

<div>This year has been a very devastating time in my life and for my family. On Friday, October 8 my grandma was taken away from me. I will never find the words to express all the emptiness that I feel in such a regrettable loss. My grandma was such a strong warrior, before this she was a stroke survivor for 3 years. She only went in for her high blood pressure, which started giving her little strokes which sadly caused her to get pneumonia.

<div>She always carried her kind smile and received you with open arms, a loving mother, grandmother, and lover of Jesus and the church life.Esperanza, or Perita as some of you may know her loved to cook for all the family get-togethers, she always found a way of setting the mood with her wonderful sense of humor

<div>The family is thankful and appreciative for all the prayers and love they have received,during these hard and difficult times of unexpected funeral expenses has placed a heavy burden on the family
