We’re Barely Surviving — Please Help Us Live Hello, My name is Rama, I am 16 years old. I am not writing this to dream… but to ask for the chance to live. Since October 7, everything changed. On October 10, we were forced to leave our home, our dreams, and all our memories behind. We’ve been moving from one place to another, not in search of comfort — just in search of survival. But in Gaza, no place is truly safe. We’ve lost many of our loved ones. Now we live in a thin tent, one that offers no protection from the blazing heat of summer or the bitter cold of winter. Clean water is almost nonexistent, and food is scarce and unhealthy. Our bodies are growing weaker… My 10-year-old brother Mohammed suffers from severe malnutrition. He once dreamed of becoming a pilot — he was top of his class. Now, that dream has faded into dust, like his school. My little sister Hala, 6 years old, suffers from extreme fear. Every time she hears the sound of planes or bombs, she breaks down in terror. My 4-year-old brother Ogaid lost his ability to speak due to the trauma of war. He barely says a few words and isolates himself — he no longer plays like other children. And me? I dreamed of becoming a dentist, helping those in need. But now, I’ve lost my school, my home, and my future. My dreams lie under the rubble. We’re not living — we’re just trying to survive. My father lost his job, and my mother, who suffers from a severe smoke allergy, works tirelessly to prepare food — if we can even find any. Prices are so high, we can’t afford even basic food. We suffer from skin diseases due to the spread of insects around our shelter, with no access to treatment. There’s no electricity since the beginning of the war. We can’t stay connected — the internet is too expensive, and charging our phones is nearly impossible. We are cut off from the world… all we hear is the sound of bombs and fear. My siblings cry out in panic, and I have nothing to calm them — only my arms. Even transportation is gone — only animal-drawn carts remain, which frighten my siblings. Everything is far, and unreachable. --- I wouldn’t ask for help unless we truly needed it. I’m calling on every kind heart reading this: Please, don’t scroll past our pain. Your donation — even the smallest — can save lives: Help Mohammed get treatment Ease the burden on my mother Provide safe water and basic food Bring psychological support for my siblings Give us a chance to return to education and dignity We are not asking for luxury… just the right to live. May God reward you for any help you can give. My page is dedicated to revealing the painful reality we are going through here — take a look. https://tiktok.com/@rama.in.gaza — Rama

We used to live a simple life, full of laughter and school. My siblings and I once dreamed of becoming doctors or, at the very least, engineers. But as time passed, everything changed. Our dreams were shattered, And we found ourselves living a life we never expected. Hope was buried. We lost our home, our lives, and all the dreams we had… swallowed by this painful passage of time. We lost so many loved ones and so much of what we once owned. But what remains is the need to keep going— to hold on through patience, and to keep praying for relief that only God can bring.
