Ehab is a six-year-old Libyan boy living in Benghazi, Libya who has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of “Acute Myeloid Leukaemia” (AML), a rapidly progressing cancer of the blood and bone marrow. Doctors have confirmed that Ehab urgently requires a bone marrow transplant that is available abroad. The cost of the life-saving procedure of marrow transplant is £100,000, and without securing these funds, treatment cannot proceed. He has already endured intensive chemotherapy and countless blood transfusions, and the overwhelming cost of treatment has completely exhausted his family’s resources. Every day that passes increases the risk of the leukaemia progressing beyond the point where this treatment can save his life. Without this fundraiser, Ehab will be unable to receive the care he desperately needs. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to securing Ehab’s life-saving cancer treatment before it is too late.
