<div>My name is Jason Steele, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my mother Stephanie and her husband Butch.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Stephanie, Butch, and their two beautiful cats Smoky and Rocky Top, have lived in a small cabin in Blount County, Tennessee for the past nine years. Unfortunately, their landlords have recently decided they want to move a family member into the cabin, and have given Stephanie and Butch 40 days notice to pack up their lives, find a new home, and move.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unexpectedly having to move is never easy, but this would be a hardship even if they had been given more time. My mother is 68 years old and legally disabled (she has severe spinal stenosis, as well as an auto-immune disorder, and has never recovered from a botched knee surgery a few years back.) Her husband Butch received a prostate cancer diagnosis less than a month ago, and I am very worried about him pushing himself too far given the circumstances.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On top of all this, they live on a fixed income and the cost of living has increased substantially since they started renting 9 years ago. They do not have the money to move, let alone move quickly. Funds raised from this campaign will go towards hiring movers and people to help them pack, temporary storage and temporary housing if they are unable to immediately find a new long-term living arrangement, and money to help offset their sudden increase in housing costs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My mother is the kindest person I know, second only to her wonderful husband Butch. Their two cats, for the record, are also massive cutie pies. Please, if you are able, help them find their way out of this crisis. It would mean the world to them, and to me.

Help Stephanie & Butch Relocate

<div>My mother, Denise Williams, is 68 years young and has spent her entire life caring for others. No matter how difficult life became, she always showed up with love, strength, and support for our family. After suffering a stroke and brain bleed, she now needs the same love and support in return.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li><strong>Personal Story / Inspiration</strong>
</li>
</ul>
<div>Denise has always been the kind of person who puts everyone else before herself. Even at an age when she should have been enjoying retirement and peace, she continued working long hours caring for others because financial struggles made it impossible for her to slow down.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She carried the weight of bills, debt, and daily responsibilities while still trying to remain strong for everyone around her. Despite exhaustion and stress, she kept pushing forward because that’s who she is hardworking, selfless, and dependable.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On April 15th, 2026, the stress and physical strain finally caught up with her. Denise suffered a severe stroke accompanied by a brain bleed and has remained hospitalized ever since. Watching someone who has always been your source of strength suddenly fighting for their own recovery is heartbreaking.

<li><strong>Problem Statement</strong>
</li>
</ul>
<div>Although the doctors are doing everything they can medically, the financial burden continues to grow. Hospital stays, medical treatments, medications, rehabilitation, and everyday living expenses do not stop during a health crisis.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Denise is now unable to work, yet her bills continue piling up. The stress of financial uncertainty is the last thing she should have to face while trying to heal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As much as I want to carry this burden alone for my mother, I simply cannot do it without help.
</div>

<li><strong>Solution</strong>
</li>
</ul>
<div>The goal of this fundraiser is to ease Denise’s financial stress so she can focus entirely on recovery and rehabilitation. Funds raised will help cover:

<li>Hospital and medical expenses
</li>
<li>Rehabilitation and recovery care
</li>
<li>Prescription medications
</li>
<li>Monthly household bills and living expenses
</li>
<li>Transportation and support during recovery
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping Denise regain stability and peace of mind during this difficult time.
